Just picked up our car last Thursday and had to wait an extra few days due to the windshield wiper motor replacement but didn’t hear anything about the trim piece.

Obviously not a software update so how does tesla usually handle this type of recall? Do they schedule an appointment for us or does a mobile tech come out?
Request a service call in connection with issue.

I’m on my way to pick up the truck and I get a phone call stating that they can’t release the truck because of the trim piece and to turn around. Truck was already on hold from the wiper motor. I probably have the longest VIN to delivery in days. Received VIN on 5/10. Smh.

If I get my CT later this year (September), it should be delivered with all recall issues prior to delivery resolved, correct?

FWIW, that is a Federal requirement that they can't sell a new vehicle with an unaddressed recall issue. Terrible timing though.

Yes. Everything is fixed on new production and existing stock must be fixed before delivery.

June 25 (Reuters) - Tesla is recalling 11,688 Cybertruck electric pickup trucks as a failure of the windshield wiper could reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said.

The EV maker also is recalling 11,383 units of the pickup truck as a trim in the trunk bed could have been improperly attached, potentially becoming loose and creating a road hazard for motorists behind, a separate notice from the NHTSA said.

"Excessive electrical current can cause the front windshield wiper motor controller to fail," the auto safety regulator said in a recall acknowledgement letter on Monday.
The company's service team will replace the wiper motor and apply an adhesion promoter and pressure sensitive tape or replace the missing trim free of charge for affected vehicles, the letters said.
I was at the dealer yesterday June 24 to drop off my truck for this and that...I asked them about the Wiper recall and he said that my VIN did not have a recall but the website you provided says there is a recall. I texted Tesla.

I was at the dealer yesterday June 24 to drop off my truck for this and that...I asked them about the Wiper recall and he said that my VIN did not have a recall but the website you provided says there is a recall. I texted Tesla.
Yeah thats exactly what Im dealing with now. Tesla says my vehicle is not on the recall list but the different. I sent them screenshots about 2 hours ago...no response

I just want it get it done while the truck is in their hands. I doubt if they will address the recall. The way they have been inefficient, I will have to take back the truck again. HOWEVER, I took the CT in for something in regards to the Sail - maybe, maybe, they will fix this.

My SC was able to add the applique issue to my existing wiper motor appointment.

VIN 66XX, both recall affected. wiper motor works solid under some very heavy rain. sail applique seem very solid as well. But one of my tire tpms broken to 2 piece…

I got my VIN on June 17, still no delivery date confirmed. In which state do you live?
