I dont blame them at all, its their right to get as much as they can for a CT for as long as they can. And its my right to refuse to pay more than 72K after tax credit for a vehicle worth no more than that
Yup, and worth is in the eye of the person buying it, which changes from person to person

Since we’re throwing opinions out for facts....

Model X Is better in every way.
Nope! Not if you have to have a vehicle that will haul a load of manure.

You're just throwing out your opinion as a fact, I guess.

$100k. Exclusive vehicle. Manure.

Just saying. :) what doesn’t fit.
Uh... I'm not sure what that comment means, but here's a documented fact: Manure and Cybertruck.

I reserved mine in Dec 2022.. RN 118xxxxx recieved my invite email yesterday, option to configure in App now..

I told the sales rep last Nov, when I first heard they were delivering, I was only interested in Non-Foundation… and this is still the case.

I can certainly understand why people are still ordering the foundation series. Recent invitees either buy now or will have to wait for at least a year for their number to come back up. Tesla may indeed run the entire reservation list for the FS.

Food for thought… it would require over 6,000 calls/communications per day, or more (as well as followup deliberations) for the last 7months go thru the entire list of reservation holders to enquire their inrerest…

“over 2million reservation holders”…or so they say

My second Tesla account email just got an invite for the foundation series and I only ordered that one 18mo ago. I can guarantee they’ll run an entire list at least once to find out how many foundations they can sell, they are smart.

It's worth what you think it's worth. Clearly there are those that disagree with you .

They are going to invite everybody on the reservations list and then see how many they sell.

I wonder if they will leave the option open to order the FS even after the regular ones are available? Then you can still pay to play or wait as long as it takes.

It would make sense that there is either an overlap or basically a final call / last 1,000 before they go back to the beginning of the list and you’re going to have to wait quite a while to get one

It makes sense for FS to equate to 2024 model year and non-FS start with 2025 model year designation. The timing fits well and sort of justifies how long they've milked "limited edition."

Worth no more than that too you / in your opinion. But yes 100% agree. Your choice if and when to buy. Definately also agree there is a good valid case for some to wait for non FD.

Not just smart, it is also fair for the reservation holders. If someone passed the invite, then don't complain someone skip the line by some change. The actual "skip the line" cost is about 5K, well worth it even only 2 month ahead of pack.
