End of Q2 push CT delivery incentives

As we approach the Q2 end sales push... I Reached out to Tesla to see if my CB will be ready.. Of course They said " ..yeah dunno.. its with South Pacific and we dunno what when and where.." This was as late as Thursday 6/27.

And then Viola! 6 PM Friday PST.. got a text and call letting me know that my CB is due to arrive on Sat 6/29 if I can I please pick-up on Sunday (Yes! Last day of the qtr), and if so, there is some incentive for me to move my tail, by ways of 2 months free SC.

The problem is its FRIDAY 6:00 PM PST, and there is not a thing I can do to move my funds around to the account that's set up w/ Plaid.

I was wondering if you guys took delivery last 48 hrs were offered the same carrots.

Have you purchased Tesla before? Because funds aren't deducted until several days after payment.

You won't get any incentives for the Cybertruck. Except for maybe "we can reassign yours to the next customer in line"

When your VIN got assigned, that was the time to get all your moneys and insurance ready.

Plaid verifies the availability of funds real time. Usually processes if a major back within next or two days. Key is have to have the funds there when process payment though in Plaid in the app.

My funds were available when I took delivery but the funds didn’t leave my credit union for a couple of days like someone else said.

That is correct! But Plaid verifies the funds in place, so if the $$$ isn't there... WTF are we doing here??!! LOL

Oh yeah !! I have!! In fact this is my 2nd CT and first CB. And you do NOT want to draw "blank checks" and I certainly don't play that!

So I am gonna say you didn't bother to read what I wrote... which is just fine! So let me just say that they DID offer 2 months free SC if I were able to take physical delivery by EOD 6/30/2024.

I have the money... and I have my insurance.. This is my 2nd CT. I am just NOT the type to pay $125K till I have my car on front of me and I am pleased and satisfied with what I see. Its an occupational hazard, and that's how I roll.

I thought it was bizzare that Tesla wanted to see insurance on a vehicle they weren't financing. Every other car dealership understands that a new vehicle is automatically covered on an auto policy for a short time period until you can give them a VIN.

Once you cross the curb it's yours, insured or not.

Existing auto insurance is fine as you're going through tasks on app. To take delivery, you must have CT insurance effective on that date. I updated my app beforehand.

Sunday afternoon I got a call from The Memphis Service Center telling me I could pick up my CT TODAY! I asked them how late they were there since I live 7 hrs away! Now I guess I’m back on the waiting list! Can’t get anyone on the phone today, either!

Yeah!! That's car is gone! The Delivery Centers worked late last night to ensure all the CT are gone without exception for the Q2 End. A lucky guy that wasn't even on the list but had the $$ and was ready to roll was referred to my delivery center and walked away with a New CB.

Its how things works at Tesla at the end of Qtr push.
