We went to a movie in Pleasant Hill yesterday and my kids went up to a different cybertruck thinking it was mine. I knew it wasn't because I always back in, but yea I'm seeing more and more too.

I never noticed how many kids on the street until i had my own kid. Suddenly i felt kids were everywhere. I called it "attention effect".

The attention can be unnerving at times. In Ocean City NJ last night I was getting mobbed by teenagers. Young people definitely love it. Especially kids. Then again in my home town before I left, someone yelled out the window as they passed me "LOSER!!!!" LOL.

I think I'll be happier when I am not the only one in town with one. I feel like I am center of attention, but I am an introvert.

Never saw one in my community until my Day 2, when I happen to come to an intersection at the same time as another. We acknowledged each other with a wave and smile.

The CT is getting less attention than I heard the earliest orderers received--naturally--but it's still north of none. Teenagers and some younger kids are the most awestruck, although some adult neighbors are gunning for a ride.

With or without attention, I'm loving the ride!

Based on the last recall numbers there are only around 15k out there right now? There are 127 million (2022) households in America. So that is:

00.012% of households have a CT. If you see multiple a day, you might be in a nice part of town!

I drove through NYC today and saw many Cybertrucks. More sightings in one day than ever before today combined. Is it true that there's not much more waiting for people who are on the waitlist?

It was fun to have such a special car and getting so much attention, but at the same time, it's nice that the attention is dying down. Everywhere I went, people would come up and take photos. I hope this doesn't last for many more months.
Still in DREAMTIME here in Australia.
Saw my first CT last Wednesday at Tesla Cremorne in Melbourne around 4:20 when l walked in as the ONLY person viewing... people started to trickle in about 5 minutes later. Head in a SPIN even now!

There is one other one In my Small town of Saint Joseph MI… while it’s fun to be different it does draw too much attention for my everyday usage!
Was just in St. Joe yesterday. My CyberTruck won't arrive until late 2024, but I've yet to see one in person. I expect the attention you're getting is that there's just so few in Michigan at the moment.

I can't wait for them to be "old news" ....

it's the thing I like the least about driving a CT; the attention.

In the Phoenix valley it is very localized. Where I live there are quite a few and they barely get a second glance anymore. Drive 10 miles to another local and it's like a UFO landed.

Funny how locally the density of Cybertrucks is. I live an hour outside of Washington D.C. in quite a nice area. Even though I drive to work 5 days a week, I have yet so see one on my drives. I HAVE seen them in my neighborhood on occasion. I think I've seen a Cybertruck on 4 different drives. But, I know they are more common other places.

The attention will get old. But, I'm looking forward to a little attention for a little while. I mean, I've been waiting almost 5 years for this. Of course, I'm an early adopter!

So we're still "special"! Seriously, appreciate the math and perspective.

As for frequency of sightings here in the wild, it's a decent neighborhood, but proximity to Austin plays a role too I think. We're about 1.5 hours away.

P.S. - TRX moved to driveway and CB moved into garage as Hurricane Beryl was approaching. It's hitting us right now. Priorities. I mean 0.012%!
