I'm pretty loyal to bfg, they've never failed my Rubicon.
One issue I'm seeing is that no one seems to be making AT 35s for electric drivetrains. So naturally we're going to go through tires faster when the tire is designed for light trucks, not a torque-y 7k lbs monster ?
Heavier trucks need a stiffer tire to have the same ride profile that standard LT ATs provide ICE light trucks.
I’ve got a set of BFG T/A KO2s on my jeep. I’m really hoping they will work on the CT once my OEM wear out. They’re rated as a 10 ply tire and 3 ply side wall, and rated at 3400 lbs for towing, so should be good for the heavy CT

Found out months later bfg tires had a flaw and had to be redesigned. Discount tire called me about a recall for a set of bfg's i purchased from them on my Chevy 1500. They traded me for the more expensive Michelins at no cost. For a street truck tire, you get your money's worth with Michelin.
I had a set that got recalled... but I found out after I spun out on the highway. Discount did get me new tires, which was nice of them, and my insurance dealt with the tire company. (It was an Asian brand - soft, but they had a sidewall crawl problem. Their other tires were good, though, it was just a design flaw in that specific sport tire.) I just stopped buying summer tires after that.

Don't ever buy Cooper tires, I bought Cooper tires for my Tundra with 40k miles on them and one disintegrated after a long highway trip. So I'm back to BF Goodrich T/As which I had a set a couple of years ago that lasted 100,000 miles.

Mine definitely won’t last 50k…I’m at 8500 miles and looking like 2/3 tread is gone already

I'm curious how much Chill mode might help save the tires. Do you guys accelerate aggressively?

I do sometimes accelerate hard but mostly Chill Mode. I do tow a 5000lb camper, which surely puts more wear on the rear, but so far only ~500-600 miles with it

Is it true that AT tires that are 35 inches last 30-50K miles?
Tires on Teslas highly depend on one thing. How heavy is your foot.
And most can expect less range on the first set than subsequent sets. Everyone tends to have that new accelerator fun.

agreed on the heavy foot?. Michelin factory tires on my Plaid didn't last 10,000 miles.

has anyone measured the tread on the oe Goodyear tires? ? (8/32)
the same tire size (286/65/20) in a BFG, Toyo, Nitto, Falken all have about (16/32) tread new.
