I would think 4 would be opposite. If you're trying to get eyes on the truck. Give it to less populated places. Someone gets out in a busy city, 1000 lookers. Or someone gets out in a small town 100 lookers. Need more in states with lower population to get the views.
If your goal was to get as many eyes on the Cybertruck as possible... I'm not saying California would get 1/8th of them but they do constitute 1/8th of the population. Tesla is spreading them out.

Exactly. So if there are 1000 people per mile in California and 100 people per mile in Nebraska, Tesla would need 10 more CyberTrucks in Nebraska to get the same about of eyes on the truck.

On the OTHER hand...
If there are 1,000 people living in one apartment building in California, it would take 1 Cybertruck for 1,000 people to see it. In Nebraska, you may need 1,000 trucks for 1,000 people to be close enough to see them. LOL

That's exactly what I'm saying, you need more CyberTrucks in less populated areas to get more eyes.

Right? PLUS, it helps to get people who actually buy trucks to see them. Well, people who buy trucks and are able to afford the Cybertruck, that is.

And for every 1,000 CTs sold in California you get one that is actually used like a truck and not as a lifestyle statement!

... maybe.

Kidding. While I don't "use my truck like a truck" every day, I have it for when I need it. Which is about every 2 weeks, if I'm being honest with myself. I could mostly get away without a truck but I don't wanna. I like being able to throw bikes in the back... pick up wood for projects... load wood from downed trees...

Just, not all the time.

Thats pretty good, most people that buy F150S never use the bed of the truck, and have never even put a trailer hitch on it. If you use the bed twice a year, then you can justify it. It’s electric, no emissions.

Don’t lose hope to those waiting, will be worth it. Picked up the beast yesterday. I was fortunate to get a VIN exactly month after configuration. Also about 18 days from VIN to delivery for So Cal. One interesting note is that if I didn’t check my app, I would have never known about invite to configure. No email or text.

Is this your first Tesla? Im wondering if there is a co between people with Tesla accounts, that receive emails and those who don’t. I.e. maybe having tesla acoustic t for a while and opting out of tesla marketing emails. Or not having account and email not in system correctly.

Not yet. A helpful guy at the Renton Tesla center said it was due in Fife on the 15th. Still nothing from Tesla, though, either via text or app notification. I'm assuming something will pop up in the next few days.

Not sure how long Fife will take to process it.
