For months pre-delivery, I was going back and forth between gloss and flat black until I saw a black carbon fiber sample on this configuration page. I was worried that carbon fiber might be too much full body, but then I saw a CT fully wrapped in carbon fiber gray. My wife and I loved it, so I pulled the trigger on 3M's carbon fiber black to differentiate our CT a bit from the others we've seen.

Overall I'm pretty pleased, and the compliments have been unending since pick-up Saturday. Charging stations, office garage, gym, neighborhood, etc. Colleagues, fellow gym rats, building security and many complete strangers covering the spectrum of demographics. My wife is the closest thing to a detractor, but that's because she thought it would be a bit more glossy.

From a distance it looks like a fairly standard flat black, but up close the texture shines through.

The pics don't do it justice.

This is actually one of the first wraps that I actually like. Very unique and subtle. It looks amazing! Me telling myself I was never gonna wrap mine.? If I did this would be the way to go!

Love it, Bill! I had a chat with Emily at AFS about your unique choice and feedback. They did something different for me that hasn’t been done in the Houston area before. I’ve been reluctant to show it here, as that would reduce its individuality, but I will eventually share it among our friends. In fact, there’s a clue in my profile pic!

RT: Thanks! They’re good folks there.

From what I can see in your profile pic, it looks amazing! Can’t wait to see it in-person at a Cars and Coffee or elsewhere.

Let the good times roll!
