I should have gotten a before picture, but we rushed, sorry. What do you guys think? There are some low spots, which I will fix. Overall, it what we thought. You can clean out most scratches pretty easily.

Hmmm... Looks ok on the video, but not sure it really is matching. Owner happy though?

Yeah, the official Tesla refinishing procedures are to only re-finish entire surfaces at a time. Meaning all surfaces with the same orientation are refinished at one time.

Of course, if you don't care if the match is absolutely perfect, then it doesn't matter at all.

Yes, agree that is what they should of done, and there were some other issues that makes me think small sanding digs in the metal will show in addition to the finish being somewhat different.

True, I don't know why they used that little 2 or 3 inch disc, they should have stuck with a 5" disc and used a coarser grit to start with (according to Tesla refinishing procedures). That would require less feathering to get rid of the depressions they made.

Some of those scratches were pretty deep. After the video, we finished it some more with the Scotch-Brite pad (stuck the big 6"x9" pad on the orbital). There's more than one way to clean out the scratches. That's just one way, and it turned out pretty good.

Of course you want to be careful, but stainless is a very hard surface. The light scratches with not be a problem at all. If it was my truck, I wouldn't have cared as much. Its a tough truck, and I love it.
