Long story short I scrapped against a pillar in a parking garage and ended up with these scratches on the drivers side rear. I'm wondering what my best options are here? Can Tesla service even fix it or am I just screwed and that whole rear panel is going to need to be replaced?

I'd imagine most of the scratches could be sanded out, but some scratches will likely remain.

Never mind. There will be many more such scratches ahead.

Best thing about the CT is how DIY scratches like this are to resolve. The Evolve video mentioned above is your best friend here.

Imagine if it it was painted or wrapped - insurance claim would be in your future

In this case, you literally buff them out.

The proper procedure has been posted and is totally DIY

I had some far worse than that and I thought it would require a panel change but the SC made them disappear just with sanding, polishing and burnishing.

Maybe not as many but these scratches on mine were *deep*

I did exactly the same thing - parked too close to a pillar and the rear wheel steering swung the rear panel into a pillar when I pulled out. It was a horrible sound and looked worse than yours (had some yellow paint in the scratches too). I managed to sand it out by hand quite easily using a wet sponge sander and gently working it in circles.

I would recommend reaching out to the local Tesla body shop. I had some scratches that I attempted to remove via Tesla’s recommended process and it looked terrible.

$300 at the shop and the truck looks brand new.
