So they’re sending out invites for second orders before finishing the first orders? Did you order through the stockholder program?I got my Beast back in Mid May. I ordered in the first 5 minutes. I re upped the deposit when I heard on Twitter that there was an active order window.... I slept on it overnight when Elon busted the window , then I ordered a second the next day. This left me with a reservation number starting 1129... Well I just got the invite tonight to configure the second one.... Gonna pass because I need my second kidney but though y'all would like the data point ....
I could have played the early stockholder card a long time ago but didn't as I figured my place in line for the first order at around #4400 not including all the influencers that jumped the line. My vin was low 8000's. I did nothin special on the second order. Early on I used this site to approximate the second order at about #125,000 in line....
I don't think anyone knows but my theory, is they quickly moved through a range of RN that likely had little interest or a lot of non-cybertruck ranges, then the pace invites slows as the newer reservations represent people that have higher interest. Batch of high interest enthusiasts in 2019/2020 after initial reveal then new enthusiasts in 2023 as it got real.
Could definitely see that being the case. In the last 5 days, they’ve sent out invites (from what I’ve seen here and Twitter) from March-July 2023 reservations. So they might be back to hopefully moving fairly consistently down the list again.
Saw an August today. I’ve seen some say October and November too, but I haven’t gotten mine.
Good to know. Still nothing for my Nov 27, 2023 reservation yet. Hoping at the rate they’re going maybe in the next week or so. I’d imagine both of us will get our invites together.
