Most of my friends are very supportive and have their hearts in the right place, but I'm getting tired of everyone telling me:

1. "I saw two on the road this weekend"​

2. "Man they are everywhere in SoCal"​

3. "Did you see that they broke the frame on one trying to tow an F-150?" (recent, Whistlindiesel video)​

4. Memes sent in jest: (Raccoon tracks on the CT, other comparisons to a dumpster or trash can, real r/cyberstuck crap)​

5. "Y'know it's going to be worth half of what you are paying in a year..."​

Some mean well, and are truly excited for me. Some think the memes are funny. Some are just trying to get a rise out of me. I suppose it might get worse once I actually have a CT. ?‍

I have always heard "If you want it bad, you'll get it bad". I feel every day that goes by and every VIN that comes before I get mine, gives my truck a chance to improve just a little. I want it "good".

As for the memes, there is quite a collection on this website... Cyber truck memes and funny pictures Check them out! I have posted a few myself. If I get a meme from a friend, I try to find a funnier one to send back. I have an attorney friend that will buy you a dinner if you can tell a lawyer joke, he has not heard and makes him laugh!

My advice, while you look forward to the destination, enjoy the journey. Hope to meet you at the Richmond SC soon. Cheers!

Thanks! That's a great attitude to have. While I certainly don't want to wait forever, it would be nice if my Cyberbeast came with the aero covers, the lightbar, and perhaps those new motors I've read about. When I got my Model 3 Performance in 2019, mine was a May build meaning I was at the very beginning of HW3. If I had gotten it any sooner, it would've been HW2 (I think). No disrespect to my HW2 brothers and sisters--(I have a 2017 MX100D which I've upgraded to HW2.5)

There is some merit to waiting. Again, thanks.

160 days and counting since I configured. I finally changed from white to grey just to see if I would get a vin…nope. Should I change it back??? I really don’t care which color.

Don’t change anything …..grey interiors are now on par with white production. Mine had Oct-Dec delivery and last Weds got Vin…..waiting delivery.

Keep checking the Tesla App as you are close. I got my vin yesterday after 143 days.

Yeah. You guys (and gals) are going to love the CyberBeast. Fast as f’ck. Please do remember to burnish in the brakes, as they did need it.

Only issue was a rock strike on the charger door edge. And a dirty windshield on the inside (off-gassing). Some minor small dirt marks on the white (if I’m being really really picky) that wiped off with some cleaner.

Very happy with the delivery. Very happy to have it. Wait was worth it.
