Tesla called me….

I open the app at least 4 times a day to see if I’ve received my VIN. I’m sitting at my desk and my phone lights up with “Tesla” on the caller ID. I could not have answered it quick enough.
They tell me there is a truck on the way to a near service center that I can take, but it’s a little different then what I ordered.
I’m thinking they’re going to say it’s the white trim, or maybe a CB! No!! It was the All-Season Tires!
As bad as I want my CT, I wasn’t willing to do it! Back to waiting patiently

Having driven an AWD and owning a Beast I can confidently say, the Beast is a whole other animal. ?

It’s worth waiting for.

Having driven an AWD and owning a Beast I can confidently say, the Beast is a whole other animal. ?

It’s worth waiting for.

This is why I will not drive a beast until I am ready to make the switch lol

This makes no sense. You want a CB, but don’t want the AT tires on a CT due to the range?

My how the tables have turned. 2 months ago they were calling people to take the AT tires. Now they're calling people to take the AS tires. Whoever is responsible for CT production at Tesla needs to be fired.

I changed my config to AS tires and wheels and the more I thought about it, and the fact that it was a beast I went back to the AT but kept the tactical gray...got a VIN about a week later. Glad I did, the look is TOTALLY different. Happy camper, and I am one of the few Beast owners out there that REALLY wants the Cyber wheel covers because they match the look that we are trying to achieve...

On a $100,000 truck, you could buy a new set of wheels and tires for a tiny percentage, less than the tax you paid on it. And you could get better looking better performing AT tires, than what Tesla provides. Get some BFG K02s, and it’ll probably get better range and do better off-road.

I could get next to that, but in the meantime I bought the warranty, road hazard and everything else for the Goodyear Tires from Discount Tires...will try to avoid that expense for a while.

They called me too! They had one just built at the factory potentially for me but it had grey interior instead of the white I ordered. I agreed to swap and they said it will be transported and should arrive around the 7th.

I had hoped they were going to tell me it was the interior. I would have taken that change for sure! Congrats on receiving your truck next week!
