The police have no jurisdiction on your private property unless they have a warrant. Case in point, see image. They can't fine a parked car on your private property.

I've lived in large metro cities, medium cities, small towns, and very rural areas.

Very rural areas are just about the only place you will find quality neighbors these days.
Wherever I live I am quality neighbor. 😁

I had the same thing.

A co-worker texted me saying some dude with a big beard was looking around my trunk parked in front of the office. Then walked towards the police department, LITERALLY next door to our HQ building.

He said a cop then came out and they both did something to the truck, but he couldn't see well enough to say what.

I walk down three flights of stairs, walk to the road, look at my truck.

On the driver side of the windshield is a ticket for not having current registration.

On the passenger side oft he windshield is my current (day old) temp registration.

I grab the ticket, walk to the cop shop, a buddy of mine is the sergeant on duty, he's like "Hey Mike, what's up?" I present him the ticket, he looks funny at it, then laughs a bit and says "I'll take care of this, have a great day Mike."

And I walk out.

Some people...and this was before the political bs! Back last May!
