Just left Fort Lauderdale SC...

- They are adamant bed divider is ONLY for use above cargo bin decking
- "No new deck or adjustment is possible to make bed dividers work beyond cargo bin decking"

I thought the bed divider could be used anyone along the l-track railing for the full length of tbed vault.

Am I wrong??

First I've heard this. I don't believe you are wrong. I'd be very surprised if you were! If they're that adamant about it, try moving your service apt to a different sc

Be careful of getting your fingers damaged while working the plungers into the track. I had to put all my weight on the divider to get it lock

I had to modify mine to get them to work anywhere - wouldn't fit over the cargo bin either. After adjusting the divider (I removed the rubber feet and adjusted spacers) it works anywhere in the bed.
I'm going to take out the plastic tracks in the slides and see if that works.

Losing my will to live to go to another SC over a slightly (but annoying) warped bed issue....

What worked for me with this very poor design was to file the top of the plastic cleats down a bit so it seats in the l track. The truck bed is never going to be level and there isn't enough tolerance in this design without adjusting the cleat.

There are many whose bed floors are in fact level enough to allow the divider to seat anywhere…

I removed them (3d printed replacements) AND loosed the side panel bolts. With the bolts loosened, I installed the divider. If it didn’t fit, I shifted one of the l track anchors near the divider and hit it upwards with a rubber mallet. Once the divider fit, I tightened the closed bolt. Rinse and repeat for the other areas of the l track.

Doesn't that throw your side panels out of square?

Nope. What would it be square to?
The upper portion of the side panels of the vault?

My bed is really wonky tbe further in you go.

Doesnt that defeat the purpose of the simplicity of the divider mechanism? On mine I just go to the spot I want it and place it with one hand. Done. ???
