Does this happen to anyone’s passenger seat, too? I haven’t had a chance to ride in my passenger seat, but no one has complained yet so I wonder if this is only an issue with the driver’s seat…and what could be fundamentally different in design/structure/padding between the left and right seats.

My seat moves, my under dash trim has warping too. My wiper is nuts.

I noticed the passenger seat creaking yesterday when my friend visited for the long weekend. Driver seat is creaking for few weeks now and it’s annoying when turning. Everyone can hear in the car. Service appointment scheduled.

I've noticed both issues on my driver's seat as well.
Pad shifts when turning left or right, and I get a creaking sound when turning left.
The driver's seat looked like the photo below when I took delivery. It has to pulled with a great deal of force in order to re-attach it to a metal rail on the under-side of the seat. Wonder if it's that connection that is, for lack of a better term, creating the 'wobbly' feeling in the seat pad during turns.

The creaking sound seems to be originating from just underneath the rear seat's screen/console area.

For me same issue but not stop & go movement, its right to left. It clicks and I feel it , if I do sharp right turn I feel it slides and clicks , then it does on left turn (not right) since its already travelled to right side. I was thinking of posting here, I opened a service request .. mid october ... I put seat covers on and I was thinking Tesla will say oh its because of covers .... its definitely design or loose bolt
Yep… same here. Im at 3k miles and I am guessing it’s gonna get worse. It feels like a shifting bar under the seat pad.

Yep had this issue they tightened something and no longer issue. Totally expect it to come back and they will need to redesign seat assembly and supply me with new one to truly fix it.

Your seat cover is visibly detached. Please report it and get them to fix it!

Is this issue more prevalent in Beast compared to AWD? I wonder whether extreme acceleration in the Beast might be creating a lot of force on the seat bolts and rivets, causing seat instability!

Not sure which model everyone affected has. I have the AWD.

I have this problem with the driver’s seat only. It’s been present since I first got the AWD and seems to be getting worse.

Is there any follow-up from the reports here? Has anyone had this successfully fixed? Did it require a whole new seat?
