Is the consensus to rotate the tires at 2500 mi and then never buy them again? Are there better tires out there?
This is what I got from all these posts.

1. CT tires last longer than CB
2. Factory tires last less than replacement because they have less tread on both.
3. Regardless of the above unless you drive your CB in chill mode and like a fiat Pinto… you will replace tires factory somewhere between 6K and 10K mark.
4. All seasons will last longer than All terrain

Thank you! I guess it just comes down to the price then. I’m one of the lucky CB owners so I’m trying to gauge how much of an investment it’ll be. I spent over $1K on tires for my 2016 Model S and, because the shop didnt do alignment, I burned through them in just 2 weeks (bald inside tread). That was an expensive month for tires ($2K).

Your tire look like they were abused. I drove my CT with the same tires for 8k miles and they look more of 80% tread leaf and look normal wear. I have AWD CT. I get it, everyone drive differently but I think those tire were use aggressively and on rough surfaces.

I might as well order tires now. Where can we order the OEM tires for cheapest price?

Tesla is not a tire company. Zero warranty there
Go to Goodyear dealer
If they are help. Contact Akron Ohio Headquarters.

I am going to do S rated 50K mileage warranty tires as my daily driver and reserve the H rated ones when I want to drag race my friend who has an aftermarket modified Raptor R with a supercharger. Waiting to get the wheel covers to reduce aero to setup that race.

Not sure about #4. Previous ownership of 35 inch AT tires on 2 different vehicles were the opposite. They lasted WAY longer than All-Seasons on any car...

Difference between Dual motor AWD torque and Cyberbeast torque I guess. Yes, this looks normal. Mine look like they were bad rubber compound.

At 6251 miles the H speed rated tire on the Cyberbeast is down to 5/32 and 4/32 with irregular degradation.

Got my Cyberbeast on June 25th. Truck has always been driven ONLY on streets and highways. Never taken off road. Never hit top speed of 132 mph. Yes did experience the beast mode and 0 to 60 in 2.6 a few times.
Yesterday I was going to go to get tires rotated as recommened in the manual at 6250. Truck is a t 6251 miles AND.... I noticed tread is low.

I measured it. 5/32 on rears and 4/32 on fronts. WOW! That's insane!

I did some research and the H speed rated tire has a sticker rubber. But for it to last just 6K to 7K miles on the Cybebeast has to be a manufacturing defect. These tires are specially made for the Cybebeast so for them to be this bad is unforgivable. I have an appointment on Oct 1st to discuss this with TESLA.

Check out the photos at 6251 miles.

That’s the whole point. I don’t. Didn’t corner hard, didn’t brake hard, didn’t get anywhere near top speed, only 3 Launches and no off roading…. and they still look like that. It’s a real head scratcher. Got to be a bad batch.

Please don’t tell me we need to change CT tires every 7K miles with just normal city and highway driving! All the savings on ICE maintenance will go in just replacing the tires. My BMW flat tires last for at least 30K and Porsche lasted …
If you drive it like a normal truck in gimp mode those tires will last a long time .

But it’s really really really easy to drive it like a Tesla, expect to go through tires faster.
