Hi everyone

After quite a bit of deliberation, I took delivery on my Cybertruck FS yesterday.

My biggest complaint with the CT so far is the $2500 store credit. It was applied to my account immediately after purchase, and I was thinking about getting the spare tire kit and the frunk ice chest..... however, both of those items are out of stock. In fact, most things Cybertruck related seem to be out of stock. I'm really concerned I've been stuck with a store credit that I have to use within 364 days (which is ridiculous-- there shouldn't be a time limit) but everything out of the store will be out of stock during that period. Based upon your experiences, does Tesla restock the store pretty regularly? When items do restock, is it a mad dash that sells out within hours/minutes of the restock?

You have to check every morning early. That happened to me with the molle panels. They had the left available and not the right side. Checked for one week until that side was in stock. I think once the FS glut finishes all these products will be available next year.

Someone else on this forum said you can buy up to $2000 worth of gift cards (I think four @ $500 each). Then you can use those over time for separate purchases....

My suggestion is to hang onto it.. I wanted the spare tire and it was out of stock. I kept checking back and in a few weeks I was able to purchase it. They scheduled my pick up appointment as closest service center. At end of this month.

Yeah I feel the same but not because things are out of stock just because I don’t want many things in the shop and we own 3 teslas ? I’ve gotten the dog back seat thing and the bed divider. Other than that the only thing I might want when it comes out is the light bar still have $1900 . I’m not worried about getting stuck with it though if worse comes to worse I will just buy what ever the easiest selling item is and resale it and eat some money.

My second biggest complaint is that I've been pulled over twice since owning it. I drove a Model 3 Performance for 2 years and never once got pulled over. I've had my CT for 2 days and I've been pulled over twice because the vehicle doesn't have a tag yet and they wanted to check my registration. That's reasonable I guess but why were the cops taking pictures and asking me to roll the windows down so they could see the interior?

What steps did you follow for the credit?

my local store in Dallas has no clue how they can issue my credit. Everyone at the store agrees I should get the credit. No one at the store knows the steps I need to follow to receive the credit.

I didn’t do anything. I got an email about the credit within an hour of purchase

Really? My emailed voucher I have says it can't be redeemed for gift cards. Can you provide the forum link?
