Tesla began deliveries of the long-awaited Cybertruck in late 2023 with the Foundation Series. They gave all the of hundreds of thousands of pre-orders an opportunity to order one with the stipulation of a $1000 non-refundable deposit.

Somewhere along this simple process, hundreds of people decided they could make up their own rules, place their orders for a Foundation Series, and delay their delivery indefinitely until Tesla offers them a Cybertruck with a lower price point.

Tesla has now contacted these customers informing them to take delivery of their Foundation Series Cybertruck or forfeit their deposits.

The internet is now clamoring with disgruntled users claiming Tesla is acting in bad faith demanding their non-refundable deposits be refunded.

Sign this petition to stand with Tesla and the beloved Foundation Series Cybertruck. Support your fellow people that follow rules and make smart, informed decisions.

I don't get this. Why place an order for a Foundation Series if you don't want one?

You have the other option, which I've pursued for my second reservation, of simply holding your reservation and not taking action on it.

If you place an order for something, and put a deposit down towards that something, how can you possibly get upset when that something is ready to be delivered at the price you knew at the time you placed the order? What is this world coming to?

Actually i placed an order for a dual motor AWD Cybertruck with the foundation series package, core tires, and White Decor...


I will receive a cybertruck with all of these options except the foundation series package
