I have 2 Teslas and a CT reservation. Iwas trying to order a Model 3 SR for our daughter this morning and once I found the right vehicle I clicked the Details button and was immediately informed that my "referral" to the person in the screen shot photo below was in place. I have no idea who this person (Ram Kumar) is but he has apparently successfully hacked THE or MY Tesla App. I looked for somewhere to report issues on the Tesla APP with no luck. No phone numbers nor email addresses were available. I called ny local service center and they transferred me to the motherships Customer Service Line. I've been on hold for 2 hrs and 49 minutes with no help or alternatives. Any suggestions? I posted my issue on X to Musk but this rather serious issue seems unreportable. WTF Tesla!!!!

Maybe you clicked a link to get to the store? Start from https://www.tesla.com and go from there.

I assume you're adding someone else's referral? Like @greggertruck lol

According to Tesla, you "order through a referral link". So to apply a referral, you must have started at the URL "https://ts.la/REFERRALnnnnn" either by accident or by a hidden/sneaky link.

The hax is likely on the client side, not Tesla's side.

It's now over 3 hours 10 minutes on hold. It seems that Tesla is great unless you have a problem. If that happens you're pretty much left to your own problem solving skills ...

Or, install a new browser. man... i you could/ would use my link that'd be massive!!!!! <3

Nope, I'm slightly brighter than that. My access (several times now) was direct to Tesla.com. I have cars and solar and use it all the time. The referral will be by me, for me. Apparently It is not changeable unless I speak to Tesla directly (3:15 and waiting). After several reboots it will not go away on it's own and I have no way to undo/redo the referral. Really nice situation and has me thinking do I really want to get yet another vehicle from a company this unreachable when a problem arises.

I didn't even get a chance to start the order ... this "referral" that I didn't request is somehow attached to my Tesla account no matter what/when I try to order. It's really obvious they don't have tip of the spear developers doing the App stuff. 3 hours and 26 min waiting on hold and temperature rising!

Plus, I have to listen to their crappy genz bumper music ... F**K!

Yeah you shouldn't buy one from them, that will stick it to them. Travel on down in person to a legacy auto dealer, I'm sure you'll be in and out in 15 minutes.
