and the Demos now have the FSD active. Feels similar to all the other, just the visual cue of the Steering Wheel moving is significantly less…

I maybe presumptuous, but I think many are in my situation. $80k for a truck is beyond my comfort level. $80k minus the $7500 tax rebate sneaks in. I am not going to fulfill my day 0 reservation until the tax credit is confirmed. That maybe never and that is ok. Good health and best wishes to all who do immediately order.

RN1201XXXXX (Oct '23). Got the non FS invitation yesterday and placed my order today. I'm fortunate to own a business and can get the tax credit that way. Now, anxiously waiting for my VIN assignment and delivery date! I have a roadtrip planned in two weeks and am hoping (but not expecting) to take delivery before that trip.

I remember when the Porsche Taycan was first announced to be starting at $78,000, years ago… this was long before incentives and just a smidge before ModelY.. I told myself that if this is indeed the price, it would be worth every cent, and I will have one..

long story short, that entry-pice never happened and IMO CyberTruck is better than the Taycan ever was or will be (minus the fluff) therefor the buy-in price for a base Cyber is validated for me..

I noticed that if you want to add FSD, it shows a cost of $8k. Wasn't this supposed to be $7k for those that placed a reservation so many years ago?

1135xxx RN here. As expected, I got an invite last night. My prediction was right.
I have placed an order for for the AWD.
Now I need to figure out if it is viable to keep my Infiniti Q50. If driving the CT makes it obsolete to drive, then I will have to sell it.

I can't wait for the $7500 Credit, too many moving target. Already NJ stated resumed 3.31% Tax on 10/1/24, to go up to 6.61% by May 2025.
My 2024 income will not let me qualify for $7500.

No guarantee that federal will remain next year.
No guarantee that CT will quality I the future.
