I got my email. VIN 14XX. Scheduled appointment, which seems like a waste.

I was able to pick up my wheel covers today. I just installed them.

When I get mine I'm going to saw them in half and put it in YouTube and say how much of an embarrassment this is for a company such the size of Tesla.

As to other who have pointed out the words selected. Screw that. Thank you for the pleasure of buying our product. You are lucky to have it. I don't like it but I still buy it. Karma points are negative right now on the wheel covers.

Anyone found a carry case for the wheel covers similar to the attached photo?
Perhaps they will fit in bags for Tesla aero covers (M3,MY,MS)
Can’t find any size specs.
Anyone know that diameter?

Same - received on delivery and the same day as you. I immediately sold them for 2k. At that going rate, I was more concerned someone would steal and sell them anyway. Figured if I really want them later, I can go back and buy at retail when readily available.

I came to the service Center to pick mine up (Bay Area) and they asked me if I wanted them to install them because they said it was a little tricky. I’m standing here watching the install as I type. It looks a little fiddley but not too crazy.

I’m like 17700, got it this AM. But just scheduled an appointment as it’s not super clear what to do. Not sure if you can just drive in and ask them to toss it in the back.

Tesla doesn’t want me to get them yet, I asked if it would be possible to get the wheel covers at my service appointment on the 1st and was told “not as of yet”. I’ll just wait for an email or see if they happen to have them on the 1st.

Surprisingly they don’t make any contact with the tire. I’m no aerophile (not a real word), but wouldn’t this create a little bit of drag?

I actually have a service appointment on Nov 1st for the wiper motor, d-rings, flex cable was also listed, and seeing what they say about the tonneau leaking. I’ll inquire about the covers, would be nice to avoid another trip.

Tesla doesn’t want me to get them yet, I asked if it would be possible to get the wheel covers at my service appointment on the 1st and was told “not as of yet”. I’ll just wait for an email or see if they happen to have them on the 1st.

if you ask, the answer would be no without email. But you can ask service advisor when you drop off your vehicle for the service. If they have it in stock, they will install for you for sure. lynnwood Tesla is the best customer service i ever had in the US.

Yes, i received a letter in the mail (hard copy, snail mail) informing me that I should schedule an appointment for the wiper motor. When I went to schedule the appointment, the flex cable and sail appliqué’s were also added. I already had the sail appliqué’s replaced, so when I take it in I need to ask if they have another revised version or if that needs to be removed from service.
