Awwwwww, I never get to be roasted by the haters ?
I made the cut once when my buddy in his Lightning beat me in a friendly drag race on the sand dunes some months ago... We knew he would, cause I didn't want to air down enough to risk breaking the bead and needed to drive home that evening... Not that anyone really cared, but got lots of thumbs up doing donuts in the sand that day and giving rides...

Wow a repost of your post got 771 up votes.

Mod needs to get more visibility on these forums.
Ya.. I believe it's like the 2nd largest sub on the site, hate is popular it seems.

LUCKY!!!
See , the trolls are among us !
It's sort of hilarious to watch them all hyperventilate and make grade school level insults...

Does anyone know where I can find the chassis rating for the cybertruck? I have a foundation series truck and wanted to rent some equipment from a local rental yard (I'm a contractor) and they won't rent this piece of equipment which is 8800# to a truck less than 3/4 ton rated chassis. I know that I can tow more than this and shared that, won't let it out the yard until I can show written chassis rating! If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks
It’s a light duty Truck

From the Tesla Certificate of Conformity:

Vehicle Category: Heavy Duty Vehicle (> 8500 lbs. GVW)

The same document that states:

To maintain service life, the battery pack should be stored at a state of charge (SOC) of 15 to 50%.

My family owns a rental yard. We would usually do not rent to anyone hauling that weight unless they had a 3/4 ton truck or bigger. If its even close we don't allow it to leave unless we know them very well. You are probably fine but trust me, they see a lot of idiots wreck stuff. We had a brand new skid steer with brand new trailer get totaled 1/2 a mile from our yard. He had a 250 or 350 van which we usually don't allow any vans. His hitch collapsed and broke. (Probably from rust). I'm assuming you're renting a 3.5 ton mini ex or mid-size track skid steer. If you can, just go down one class to 3 ton mini ex or 7500lb-8klb skid steer and you should be fine.
Hey! I own a rental store in Springfield Missouri! We do have a ton of horrible stories in our industry! I do love pulling up to a clients place with a skid steer or landscape tractor behind me. The looks I get are classic. I am hoping that future generations of the cybertruck get even beefier!

Awesome! What is the most you have hauled with it before? I was wondering how it would do with a track skid steer. How good the brakes are and how the truck handled the weight being loaded on there. If it lifted it at all when loading.

I have hauled 2 Large Landscape Tractors w/o front buckets and box blades on a 16-18 foot trailers over an hour away.
I have a John Deere Skid Steer that weighs 5500 I have towed two at a time for a very short distance. I was definitely on the bubble by the time you add a trailer. I did it when we first got the machines to prove to myself what they were capable of. I would never let a customer do that. I like to know the limits of machinery so that I can keep my employees and customers safe. The location was a large farm so I never traveled on a public road either. It towed incredibly well.

That is good to know. I have had to haul loads over the tow rating before. Sometimes those situations just happen and you need to get things done. I thought the tow rating seemed low especially with a 2500lb payload capacity. I wonder if the limit is the hitch, suspension, or something else. I’ve got mine on order. Hopefully get it by the end of next month. Still don’t have a VIN. Ordered 10/14. RN115
