So here is how I got the light bar. Remember I had no notifications or emails that it was ready.
1. Used app to create service appointment, don’t remember what category it was for, I think there was one for install accessories. Might have just been other.
2. In the description, just wrote install light bar for CyberBeast.
3. Scheduled for as soon as possible. (I did not think this would work)
4. They contacted back and said they didn’t have one ready, but would order it and rescheduled me for the end of October (this was around the 12th).
5. Last night texted again, and made sure it was available before my appointment today, they said it was ready, and offered me to drive around a new Model X while I waited. (Let my wife drive and she loved it) 2 1/2 hours later, it was installed.

Was able to hide the wire around the glad instead of up and over.

Also I haven’t been able to activate the light bar yet. Tried the instructions with the Drive, Outlet on, park, with no luck. Not sure how long it takes to “verify”

Got it working, apparently SC unhooked the harness in the B pillar when they installed the light bar.

Also I don’t have to be in off road mode to turn it on.

I have an upcoming appointment so I just requested the install of mine also. I got the email it was ready for light bar over a month ago. We will see. Thanks for the tip.

How did they go about compensating as part of the original purchase of the Cyberbeast?
Did they quote you in the app with any pricing then mark it off as ‘good will service’ while onsite having the light bar installed?
I would hate to schedule and have them think I am purchasing the light bar outright when it should come as part of the full package I already paid for.

No there was never even a quote to accept. They aren’t selling them yet, so I don’t think they are in the system to quote. But I could be wrong.

Unplugging that connector is a mandatory step so Tesla can steer clear of any state or federal vehicle code violations. Also, in probably every state, aux lamps that do not comply with road use rules require a cover. Do you know if there’s a cover available for this?

Thanks for the tip on how to get this installed. I’ll follow your steps and see what happens.

Here are a couple of images from the lightbar installation instructions. Assuming yours came with the blackout tape?

I have a service appointment first week of Nov to replace rocker panel cover as they clipped it backing it off the trailer. I took delivery anyway. I just asked about adding the lightbar during that appointment and they noted they are not available to order/install at this time :-/
