It’s definitely an option. In the trade in section of my delivery tasks, I had an agreement to consent to to transfer FSD. Now my trade in pending screen shows this, sorry I didn’t grab a screener of first page.
Tesla Cybertruck FSD transfer now eligible for Cybertruck purchases [Update: Confirmed by Tesla] IMG_0205

Edit: Purchase agreement updated as well, FSD is removed and just states base autopilot.

Likewise, and can confirm the transfer from a vehicle on the account other than the one being traded in is working properly too.

Tesla finally just pinged me since the Oct 20th hold lift. Looks like my 2016 Model 3 (totaled) FSD is able to transfer to CT! The previous FSD add-on is also removed. This is a Killer Deal now. With the Commercial tax credits, I'm saving HUGE! Hope this helps someone.

If you look at the provisions on Tesla website for eligiblity reqs FSD transfer will not apply for Commercial vehicles, so if you're planning to take the commercial tax credit, and therefore register CT as commercial at time of sale (in California for me?) , it would disqualify for FSD transfer….
If you hear/experience different, I'd love to know.
I wont buy if I can't get both

it's all through the app so it could work. Don't think Tesla is nitpicking right now. Commercial credits is just filing a form at tax time.
