I finally received my adapter today that I ordered a few months ago. Evidently there was an issue in the initial batch and they had to be redone. I thought I'd share some pictures. It comes in a nice case and feels solid in hand, plenty of heft to it. I have not tried it yet, but as soon as I do I will report back here what the results are. Until then, enjoy the pictures!

I have a feeling there are a number of these with various branding all showing up right now. Here are pics of mine, including one to compare with the length of the Tesla one that doesn’t fit the Cybertruck. I will test at a CCS1 charger tomorrow.

Indeed looks like the same one I received just from a different company and as you said they all seem to be sourcing from the same supplier, box is the same, etc. Let me know how it works as I don't know if I will have time to test tomorrow or not yet.

Thanks in advance for your reports! I and many other CT owners will need one.

Here is the link for the EVBase one:

EVBase CCS1 CT adapter

I just tested it, and it seems good… I had a good battery and was charging from 70% to 80% just as a test. This was a EVCS charger at a local grocery store. I put the big hose into adapter, and plugged that into the truck. Then I activated the charger (QR code shown to the EVCS app) and it didn’t work the first time so I shoved it in harder and tried again. Then it worked.

The charge rate was pretty low to begin with, 40kW but it gradually got up to 63kW. Probably because of the cold battery, but at one point the CT display said “charge rate limited by charging station” though I was to only vehicle there. So, it worked OK.

The one difficulty is that plugging the hose onto the adapter was hard, I had to push down on the ground. Worse was unplugging it, I had to wrestle with it. I wish the adapter had a better surface for gripping, and it ended up flying off and falling on the pavement. I didn’t seem damaged..

Oh, the adapter seemed to rest on one spot of the CT’s port exterior, so it was a little better than just the tiny NACS snout holding it up.

I might take a tube of silicone grease and put it on the hose end first.
Please do not apply any substances no matter how benign seeming to charging equipment surfaces that are, or interface with, ones that are publicly used.

I couldn’t get my EVBase adapter to work at a chargepoint that I’ve used plenty of times. It slid right on and I pushed it in as far as it would go. The adapter touches the fender so there’s no way it can go in any further.

After multiple attempts to start. a charge I gave up. I don’t think this is ready for prime time as I would have been stuck if I had relied on it with the route that has no supercharging.

The station was waiting for the vehicle and the error message seemed to indicate that the plug wasn’t seated all the way in but there was no room to go further.

I'm guessing you've had that adapter a while?
Cybertruck from same company one is new and longer.

No this is the new CT version. I don’t own any other Teslas.

Oops, my bad.
I miss read the "used many times" as the adapter and the Chargepoint station.
And I see your photo matches the new design.

That's weird it doesn't fit. Maybe it was pulled at a downward angle? Top finger was making contact?
