Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share my first model on makerworld. It’s a custom made hook designed to snap onto the CyberTruck MOLLE panels on the bed sides or the MOLLE openings on the Cargo Divider. I actually under-sized them a little to also work with the cargo vault, because for some reason Tesla made those openings a tiny bit smaller.

https://makerworld.com/en/models/747252#profileId-680461

There’s no cost but a download / like does get me some points. I’m new to the site and not exactly sure how it works but I’d like to do more items. I uploaded the straight STL file there as well.

Looks like a well-designed clip, thanks for sharing! One of my coworkers does a lot of 3d printing, I’ll have to get him to print me one. I haven’t made the plunge for a 3d printer yet.

Can you post more details/photos about the storage solution you have above/behind your cargo divider?

You're welcome!

Sure, it's part of an organization project I've been working on, including a custom L-Track 1x4 / 2x4 / Shelf Bracket I've been working on and have on Etsy.

The storage units are Greenmade Store-All Crates from Costco. I went this route vs something like the very expensive Milwaukee PackOut set.

There are a bunch of configurations that I've worked out using my brackets. So for example, with a 1x4 cut to length, I can leave 10 L-Track "circles" between the CyberTruck Cargo Divider and my bracket and the storage unit holder actually slots in nicely. This is useful towards the rear of the bed, where there's not a lot of room above the L-Track due to the toneau cover. It also allows them to be held above the gear locker, but still allow access to the gear locker. For something more permanent if used with the tonneau open on the highway, I can setup four brackets with two 1x4 across the width of the bed towards the back spaced 6-8 "circles" apart, and screw down the storage holder into the 1x4s. All that's left is to bungee cord or ratchet around all four units to hold them into their holder. They could also be used to create a flat shelf or work surface.

You can accomplish this with just some wide L brackets as well you can drill into and pair with L-Track studs, but I just wanted to make my own.

I'm also working on MOLLE clip shelf brackets that will allow a similar function.

I always appreciated having the dimensional lumber slots on my F-150 bed, and if we're for PowerShare voucher, I probably would have made all my own accessories. Not a fan of these L-Track shelves that are upwards of $500 when a similar function can be accomplished with some wood and black enamel paint. Especially when you take into account the CT MOLLE panels are only rated at 100lbs.

Nicely done, looking forward to seeing your progress on those projects and others!

Now I remember seeing those storage bins at Costco before, I’ll definitely take a closer look at them next time I’m there!

Do you mind sharing a link to your Etsy store?

Thanks! Here’s a slightly better example of what I was saying. Don’t mind the bolts they’ll be black of course haha.

My Etsy store is pretty new and this is the only item on there for now, but thank you for asking. Here’s the link: https://antanus.etsy.com/

My brackets include 4 M10 L-Track studs, just not the hardware to mount whatever horizontal material the person chooses, for obvious reasons.

I’m working on a modified version of the clip I shared here for fellow CT owners and will post it on there for anyone who just wants to order without printing.

I like the hooks but I really like that bracket to hold the boards over the bed ! It would make hauling 6/8’ materials with the tail gate up so much better when you’re bed is already full of tools.

Order placed!
Thank you! For the base piece (with the slot openings), did you want 3/8in slots or 1/4in slots? 1/4in is more common, I just had plenty of 3/8in bolts and wing nuts. There will be an option in the future.

This is awesome stuff! Love the idea of those 2x4 brackets!

I'm working on a custom modification to make a bike rack work on the L-track so I can keep it in the truck (the rack, not the bike). I'm 3D printing a prototype mount right now. Once I get it dialed in I think I'm going to have it machined from aluminum.

I frequently use 1/4-20 hardware, so I’ll go with the 1/4”. Thanks!

Thanks! Bike rack idea is pretty great. While I don't think you'll be hitting up the limits, just for anyone who's interested, Tesla does not actually provide a weight rating I can find for the CyberTruck L-Track. Companies that make accessories like a rack (with 4 mounting points in the L-Track) give theirs a load rating around 225lbs. Telsa's MOLLE panels are rated for 100lbs each.

Thanks for sharing. I could not find a photo that showed the entire clip (including the back). The reason I ask is another forum member shared a similar model but it lacked a positive retention feature so the hooks tended to slide up when lifting straps, etc. off them. Do these have a bump or similar feature so that they *snap* into place and stay put?

It sure does! This is from the slightly fancier one I just finished and put on my Etsy for anyone who doesn't want to do the 3d printing part, but they work similar. It has not only the retention clip but also an angled tail to keep it tensed against the tailgate sail if used on the MOLLE panels.
