Color me woefully optimistic. I was kinda hoping FSD would in some manner attempt to avoid running down a child (mannequin) in the street. ?‍ So thanks to everyone who made me aware that it's "supervised"! ?

I think it is a helpful video and hopefully tesla folks watch it. Hard to imagine FSD becoming unsupervised 14 months from now when cybertruck is not avoiding a child mannequin in the middle of the street during the day on an isolated back road.

My Cybertruck has easily avoided people and objects in the road, but always on paved streets. I assume the reticence to move further over was based on the computer’s decision to avoid venturing off this narrow road.

Still, it could have done better, but in my experience on city streets it identifies and avoids pedestrians with aplomb.

A collapsed cardboard box? ROTFLAMO, if this video was from you, I really hope that you had an accident dodging the collapsed cardboard box.

Narrow road should of not have been the issue. Similar to multi-lanes in same direction with traffic in other lanes so can not change lanes.

The primary problem is that the Cybertruck FSD did NOT STOP even though it should of had plenty of time to recognize that it did not have enough room to go around the obstacle.

The failure happened with both the mannequin and the upright box.
Running over the flat box on the ground was OK but It actual hit the upright box. There could have been someone behind/in the upright box or the upright box could have had a brick wall inside.
The mannequin could have been a child or small adult in a costume. FSD would have hit or came so close it would have scared the crap out of real person.

The mannequin and the upright box did not suddenly jump out in front of the truck.
It had enough time and enough distance to stop before the mannequin and the upright box obstacles and did not stop.
