Had my cybertruck for 4 days and this thing broke

Had my cybertruck for 4 days and this thing broke, see the picture. I dove a total of 200 miles. not sure if it is an issue comes with the delivery or I got something on the highway.

I put a duck tape to hold it in place which obviously doeswork.

Does anyone know if the warrantee would cover it? I really hate to go to the service so if anyone knows how to fix it, please instruct.

User error, this truck is tough as nails and the best on the market.

The duct tape will just give it character, congrats…

When you say it broke is it cracked or did you check if the screws are lose or missing ? Personally I want to take mine off all together I took the front ones off already. If you had it for 4 days make a service ticket I’m sure they will take care of it
Edit I think I see the screw plastic broken. Is that the front or the rear ?

It is the driver side rear. Yeah the screw plastic broke

Just open your app and make a ticket for it. The rear is a little bit more of a pain to remove then the front so better to make them deal with it.

seperatre question, I paid for FSD but when it is delivered it says fsd will be available in a later time through software upgrade. Do you know when the feature will be delivered?

IIRC, it's like $15-$20 to replace. Yeah you hit something. It's not a big deal... don;t get into offroading too much, because $15 is like buying chicles in Mexico for .25. Wait until you get $5K for a side panel for hitting a rock...yes... for fun.

Ah, good to know. I use this truck as my commute car so hopefully I do not need to go off road

I had that happen, but I drove into/over a roll of artificial turf. It could happen if you drove up onto a rock or log or any number of things. I did take it to Tesla and the cost was $15 for the part but in the end they didn’t charge me. It helps, I think, to be honest and humble rather than to pretend it was a design failure.

It was delivered already. Check for software updates.
