As long as you don''t get grease on something, distilled water in a spray bottle, and a microfiber cloth will do the job. And that's great for the touch screen, where you might not even want to use glass cleaner.

For tougher dirt, any good interior cleaner meant for all surfaces including plastic should be ok. Personally I would NOT want the shiny stuff, just makes things slippery and attracts dirt. I got a dash cover, so I don't think other interior plastic really needs a UV protectant.

Can you please share what dash cover you got and any feedback you have related to it?

One of my dogs scratched the dash cover awhile ago.

That’s the only one I know of. It’s not formed, but flattens out ok after awhile (didn’t even need the Velcro). I got the gray since I chose the gray interior. Make sure you get it the right way around; the slots are for the defog/defrost vents.

Copy that. Thank you.

You are definitely happy with the purchase though? I have the gray interior also, does it look pretty natural in the Cybertruck?

Would have preferred a formed one but they didn’t have that. Fits well enough. It’s almost carpet material but a bit like the soft strip that Velcro hooks onto. Slightly lighter edging all around and around the vent slit.

Dash is black but I figured gray would be cooler and not show every speck like black would. It’s a bit lighter than the nearby gray trim, but unlike different shades of green, shades of gray don’t clash. They do have other colors if you’d prefer one of them.

And as these things go, IMO the price is reasonable.

So I’m happy enough; YMMV.

Last question, does the dash cover cover up the gray and the black part of the dash? Or just the black part?

Mostly just the black (the top); the gray is where the air vents are, wouldn't want to block those.

As long as you stick to gray or black, it's not going to look goofy with the gray trim anyway. Or if you usually have your accent lighting set to a color similar to one of the other colors offered, that might be interesting. Or to make snowflakes wet themselves, get one of the camouflage patterns. :)

Hey everyone,

Was curious what you all use to clean the interior of your Cybertruck? Someone on here recommended the Chemical Guys Interior Cleaner

This stuff ---> Amazon.com: Chemical Guys SPI22016 Total Interior Cleaner and Protectant, Safe for Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, Motorcycles, RVs & More, 16 fl oz

However, it sucks! It cleans some materials, but not others. I am specifically looking for a good cleaner to clean the material on the doors, both the soft felt material above the controls, and the nylon type material right above that (or right below the window). I used the Chemical Guys Cleaner in the back seat and it didn't clean the dog drool from that nylon type material.

So, what is the best cleaner out there for the dash/seats/door material, etc?

Simple Green claims to be harmless to plastic. Of course there are a lot of different types of plastic.

Some very quick googling suggests that the gentlest thing might be Dawn or some allegedly eco-friendly liquid dishwashing detergent, diluted a lot, and still used in reasonably small quantities. Or a drop straight for serious grease, thoroughly removed with damp cloths.

With a microfiber cloth, I tend to try to limit myself to water or glass cleaner, so I can get more uses out of it before having to wash it (exception being cleaning the outside, which will probably not go far before washing, because I live near an airport and that means a certain amount of soot on everything; but microfiber cloth and Sprayway is the best for fingerprints and streaks). If I'm going to use something that might leave a residue, I use one of the disposable blue shop towels instead, and another one with just water to remove the residue.

Simple green is echo I like it because I can control the strength of it. But I do think it can leave a residue some times. Dawn is def always a good solution , I never spray it directly on anything I always apply to the rag , I’ve used it for my work truck regularly for years. All that “chemical guys “ stuff as it might be good it’s pretty costly . I also live by a airport
