Has anyone slammed their finger on the CT door. I was trying to avoid finger prints and I accidentally slammed my finger in the CT door. Be careful when you shut the door so it doesn’t happen to you. I needed three stitched. I will save you from my photos.

How is that possible? Are you using one of those retarded aftermarket "handles" that attach to the inside of the door?

This happened to me in May. I had to get 2 stitches with half of a nail ripped off, and my finger tip still feels numb despite being healed. It's one of the may reasons why I wrapped the truck so doors are easy to close without leaving fingerprints.

Just curious about this. My daughter slammed her finger in another car door the other day and we were wondering how the cyber truck would operate in this situation since it draws the door in. I can see how it will cut you, but did the door stop closing? Sounds like it must have not drawn all the way shut, so it must have a sensor for resistance. We were considering trying a carrot test on it.

Pro tip, close the door using a fist. There is much less oil on the back of a human hand.
Round house kick it closed!

I grab the rubber seal on the top, the same one I grab to open it. I figure worst case I close the door's rubber seal on my fingers. The owner's manual specifically warns about using keeping hands away from the opening edge, especially with pinch point created by the rear door. I just deal with fingerprints from passengers, I'd rather clean off those than their blood.

Close with your palm. Problem solved.

I haven’t had any issues with aftermarket handles but this time I used my right hand like the picture and I couldn’t get my finger out fast enough and it jammed the door. Instead of opening the door I pulled my finger and I think I made it worse. Just be careful this can happen and release the door sooner.
