Your 3rd motor ‘option’ works fine. Base price is still 79,999

I didn’t pay to have it “now” as I am about to take ownership of a CB this weekend and in California with taxes and fees I can assure you it is less than $1000 shy of $120k so rounding, with taxes and fees, depending on state, it is indeed a $120k vehicle even if you didn’t pay to have it “now.” Mine is not FS.

YMMV depending on state.

Cheers

Just thinking out loud here, is the leather the problem or is it maybe the foam underneath is too soft and losing it's form?

Correction…the truck is not $120K

This is just what you paid to have it ‘now’
I see a lot of people say this but I didn’t see an “early access” fee. From what I can see, non-foundation CBs are the same price if all the same upgrades are added.

If you wanted the truck when first released, ie Foundation Series, you were forced to take and pay for the extra ‘options’ at the time… only option was to take all (many with a few exceptions) options in order to get it early.

As I mentioned earlier,if you use a good seat cover(which there are several on the market) this issue will not be be as pronounced. I just uncovered mine as an example. The synthetic material is susceptible to early wear if left exposed. I learned from my M3 which I had for four years. The other action which will destroy these seats is using you knee against the seat to lean into the cabin.

Love watching the FS and non FS clash on this forum. Each side thinks they are better than the other. In all honesty. Both side should STFU about it and enjoy their trucks. I think the forum should close threads when it gets into this subject like they do politics.

Anyway... Back to ballsack seats....

Everything wears out with time, stone statues, our bodies, and our car seats.

There are 2 schools of thought. Pay upfront and protect it, pay at the end and fix/replace it. I am also getting wear spots at 4k miles in 9 months. It doesn't really bother me though. I paid for white seat covers and now it is a complete non-issue.

I am not defending seats that show wear so early, but it seems like a minor and tolerable issue with a lot of solutions as mentioned above. Maybe if they were more durable they would be less comfortable? ?‍♂

Its the vegan leather - my CT has been barely in the sun, looks the same. Within probably 1000 miles it started looking like this. It’s part of the reason for getting seat covers.
Do the seat covers hinder the seat warmer and cooler?

If you’re worried about seat wrinkles over time, our custom-fit Cybertruck seat covers are a great solution. Made from premium leather, they protect your seats while maintaining full functionality and matching the truck’s interior design.

The website is now on Black Friday sale, so don't miss out ;)

I thought Tesla tested these seats to make sure this issue doesn't happen? In the short term, at least....

I’m not calling you stupid for choosing to live where you do so let’s keep things factual and civil. People have their reasons for residing where they do and they probably aren’t explaining them on this forum, or wouldn’t be allowed to based on forum rules. I was correcting the record that depending on location this can indeed be a $120k truck even if it is not FS. There is no need to lower this forum to playground insult trades that serve no purpose. There are plenty of other places online to engage in that sort of thing, and this forum has integrity because it is not among them. We should keep it that way.

Cheers
