For iOS users, go to the App Store, click your account details (avatar on the upper right corner), and look for the Tesla app for an update. If you don’t see it, swipe the page down to update apps with an update.

Once the Tesla app is updated, go to the Watch app [on the phone] and scroll down near the bottom to show the Tesla app add onto the Watch. (This assumes auto app install is not activated; mine is set to manual install.)

Noticed that the [Watch] app wouldn't install while on cellular connection. Went on a WiFi network, and installed right away.

I updated the Tesla app on my iPhone and then opened the app on my Apple Watch. I also added the % charge on the Home Screen. My assumption/hope is that it does not keep the CyberTruck awake to get this data.

That’s what I’m wondering! Seems like it would have to.

It appears complications/widgets are also supported, though there are very few at this time.

The 63% is the battery in my Cybertruck, the 70 is the watch battery. If I click on the 63% it takes me to the Tesla watch app, which is quite convenient. Yes, I suppose I could program the action button to do the same but that gets pressed accidentally all the time when I'm lifting weights so I don't want to keep waking up CT (it may get angry). Very cool!

unlocking vehicle from the watch states: 'Vehicle software update required'....but there is no update available when I check. I am already on v12 2024.39.5. Anyone else able to unlock the truck without their phone from their watch?

Annoying as heck that they release the app with essentially zero functionality until the holiday update

THis worked perfectly!
I had other apps that needed updating too!

Its good that its released ahead of time though, so you are ready when it does come out.

better this way than the other way around, given the release schedules and how Apple won't give a guaranteed available time for when an application has passed approval and made available.

The way I look at it is, I could not do it before.... so no loss....BUT when the car is updated and this is now an available feature... I would be annoyed if I had to wait for the watch to catch up

Dang, I was really trying to avoid upgrading to iOS 18, but it looks like I need that to get the required WatchOS 11.

My Tesla app updated on the phone, but it does not show up on the watch.

Anyone else having this issue, or am I simply doing something wrong?
