Yes, I know that thread and posted a question in there. Waiting to have them and then I'll drive even higher: 2.125" higher than stock in "Off Road" "High" .

Rear view on screen needs to be zoomed more or let us be able to select zoom , everything looks so far away , look in side mirror and they are a lot closer ?‍♂
yes, I would like the rear view camera the same size as the side view when the signal is on.
Make it happen Elon. You can do it!

Yep .... 100% agree! I’m sure cameras are “tuned” for FSD and all the safety stuff, BUT totally useless as a rear view or side view mirror substitute. I’d love a zoom function to make them functional.

It would be a great feature for the Cybertruck if the rearview camera remained visible on the screen even when the tonneau cover is closed and the blinker is activated. Currently, activating the blinker causes the rearview camera to disappear from the screen.
That's one of my few complaints. The rearview camera view should be above or below the side view on the screen. Ideally, you should be able to move it where you want it.

Another of my few complaints is about the rearview camera itself. It's almost useless at night and in the rain. I get vertical streaks from cars' headlights and whitish clouds around the cars, making it dangerous.

Yes, the rear view is one of my only beef about the truck. They should have a rear view mirror screen. Someone installed an aftermarket one and I’m ready to go that direction (along with the washer for the rear camera).

It would be blurry. You can't zoom in further than the camera can see.

This isn't Star Trek and no AI will really show you want the camera can't see,

Holiday update notes ..,
Hmmm ?
  1. Cybertruck Rear Camera Improvements - The rear camera feed is now larger & you can pinch to zoom in or out

Agreed. Since they cheaped out on having a digital rear-view (and losing the binnacle screen that was seen in early prototypes), they really need to improve the rear view experience. As a driver, I'm FAR more confident in the R1T (or M3 Highland) vs. the CT.
Et tu Pete-ay? Has anyone approached AO about a digital rear hire camera option?

Sort of, but nothing good, just lazy re-mixes of existing solutions, nothing that's truly optimized and in keeping with the CT.

It's like the people that designed the software never even test drove the car. ?‍♂

that button will show the front camera until you swipe on the screen to change to rear, and it will not come on above 10mph. Pressing that button above 10mph only turns off the rear view image but does not bring up the big camera display.
Thanks. I’ve owned for months now and love the front camera for parking but couldn’t figure out why it only comes on some times.

Sad Day :(. I am not an electrical engineer but is the camera on the “Ethernet” information system or is it separate. If it’s truely ethernet could you hack into that and jump the feed to a device?

Cameras are each direct fed coax (LVDS?) to the AI4 computer.
