I’m 100% for waiting at this point. Who will be the first forum member to receive a 2025 Cybertruck?
Same here.
I decided to send it and take delivery of a 2024. I really hope the only difference between my CT and yours in an S in the VIN

One advantage of taking delivery in 2024 is tax write-off for business. In 2024, you can write off 60% of the vehicle cost. It’s only 40% in 2025. Of course assuming you have legitimate business entity to show the purpose of use. I suggest checking with your CPA if you are planning to write off CT for business taxes.

Well, apparently you’ve never driven a Plaid. Pretty much any car is a downgrade in the sheer POWER category. I am looking forward to being able to load motorcycles in the back of the CT however. The MX Plaid is pretty much worthless for storage bc of those LAME middle seats that don’t recline! ?
Loading my motorcycle/track bike is one of the reasons I traded my Y for the CT. Ok, maybe not a ‘reason’ but more of a justification to get it lol.

I’ve always trailored my Aprilia and Ducati and never loaded a bike in the bed of a pickup before. This Spring, I’ll be shopping for a ramp…

Another advantage besides the 3 months of FSD is the discounts lots of wrap shops have for the holidays. I am saving around 3k on wrapping

I know it. Seems like they would have came up with a permanent fix by now besides a rivet.

If Tesla was like most companies the 2025 would be out but it isn’t and for some reason I think a bunch of people think it’s coming and are waiting so you will see more orders and wait time in January. (My opinion).
I got my 2023 M3 in November last year had I known or looked into the body style changing I would have waited because a change of body style will def change the price for the old style But given the fact that nothing is changing on the 2025 CT and it’s just a number. It makes zero sense other then mental

if I was looking for a Used CT in the next few years I would pay way more attention to condition and miles then year number. If that isn’t how you look for a used car/truck with zero changes you’re a moron
“All do respect” ?

It kind of is a permanent fix given that it fixed the problem and doesn’t really effect any esthetics

Why do I think that “most people” waiting for 2025 are really waiting for other reasons like financial reasons which is ok but just keep it real. Once the 2025 comes it will be “I’m waiting for the tax credit to come”, “I’m waiting for the demand to go down and price to drop” “I’m waiting for the single motor at 50k”. ?.
Well, for me I’m actually giving up all the added incentives. I would rather have a 2025 VIN than the 3 mo FSD, supercharging and the added referral bonus that might go away.

I updated that post. That makes zero sense to me . Sit your 2025 CT with 80k miles and wear next to my 2024 CT with 30k miles and still looks new. Anyone who takes yours for a higher price or same price over mine for a number that was built 6 months later must have taken the short bus. It comes down to condition
Not to mention the 2024 incentives add up to Money saved which equals the money you think you will get more for on resale
Granted if the 2025 comes out Jan first then yeah Tottaly wait it’s less then a month away. But if it doesn’t come out for 3/4 months then I wouldn’t wait

That’s awesome! Could you please share some referrals? I’m contemplating on whether to get a wrap or not. If I can save $3K, I might go for it! Appreciate it.
