I still get sent the videos of the lines at superchargers that are a few years old now. It doesn't matter to the senders, they just want an opportunity to virtual punch at Tesla owners. When it's pointed out the age and inaccuracies of the vids, they go dark or reply with ?‍♂. It will be a while before this behavior dies out.

Gotta build up the callouses, you're gonna need 'em.

Thoughts? Well in my old-school ICEmobile truck I was "stuck" at a stop light due to slight uphill grade plus a dusting of snow on the road. This is with new BFG KO3 tires. Maybe I should fire up TicTok and complain? Or put out a press release and send to MSM...

Haters gonna hate. Ignore and move on!

Also, probably not snow tires. The default AT tires are not particularly adept in slushy, slippery conditions.
Yeah, we saw this last November/Dec when they started being delivered, remember the truck sliding down the hill with AT tires? Growing up in Buffalo, NY... tires make a world of difference.

The most important feature of the cyber truck is the dual locking diffs. Tesla didn’t have to do this. It’s rare to see a vehicle with factory dual lockers. In fact , this is my favorite feature about the CT. the fact that it’s a 600HP+ all EV, is still not as cool as it having 2 mechanical locking differentials . Unfortunately even in the current year humanity has still failed to come up with a traction control system that beats this extremely crude , basic , locking differential. Not even Rivian with its quad motor is able to reproduce a locker (for some odd reason. maybe they have a bunch of clueless nerds programming, the torque steerer software??). If the dual motor CT had been more expensive than the tri motor, I would still purchase the duel even with 200 less horsepower. All bc dual lockers. Again, for some reason mankind can’t imitate this extremely simple yet critical feature called a locker (presumably clueless nerds are programming these torque steer systems that don’t comprehend sometimes you just have to blow a CV joint in order to make both those goddamn wheels spin the same exact speed no matter what happens). If you disagree with me, you clearly just use your truck for Starbucks drive-through or somehow consider a light fire trail that a Toyota Camry could easily navigate “ Off -Roading.” it’s not until you’re stuck on the side of a hill between , boulders and deep ruts…Or like this guy in a little patch of snow and ice do you realize how fucked you are without dual lockers .

Though I haven’t used it yet, I do trust that they actually made the tri motor correctly so the rear two motors working as a locking dif. Rivian might not have figured it out, but I’m sure Tesla did.

Yeah, a road like that could have a berm of basically solid ice under that slush and you gotta break it because you're in a little puddle of slip.

And even with winter tires, well, sometimes the slope is just too much.

It really has nothing to do with the truck, just the tires. Well, a lighter truck might slip on ice a heavier truck will press through... but a heavier truck might melt the ice and slide down where a lighter truck would have tiptoed over.

Snow is full of treachery.

That's not true @CyberGus , I just drove up to Lillooet, BC. Drove through the snow like a charm. Mind you, I don't drive like a normal civilian. I love late night drives when the Titanic met her demise. Bad joke or not, I want to push my truck to its absolute limits. Don't believe me? Got to Lillooet thinking they had a supercharger. Damn was I wrong, lol. I legit regened the whole way down till I got to Whistler with only 6% left. I charged and in 15 min I could get to Vancouver.

Side note: Is there a reason my truck was charging at 253 KW but at 9xx?
When my M3 is doing the same amount it's usually at 1,6xx.

My guess, battery size?

A video of a Cybertruck has been circulating on instagram and I knew it was a matter of time that someone would forward this video of it being stuck in barely any snow.
This was my response:

Thoughts?
Any vehicle can get stuck in <snow, sand, rocks, …> if the driver doesn’t know what they are doing.

Even if they know what they're doing! What happens after you park can be a serious pain.

You park and the slush freezes and how you're just in a little puddle. Or it melts partially, or the snowplow puts up a rail of ice...

Or any number of other things. Right, I hear you, but the person that knows what they are doing handles the situation. If you grow up seeing slush freeze you know how to handle it, or if a plow buries your car in crud, etc. all I am saying is that you can’t blame the car for everything. Sure, some cars simply don’t belong in snow, and you can’t blame blame them a bit, but wheee I grew up virtually every car had the deal with all the cases you mention, and more, every winter. And only a few drivers got stuck, and they learned.
