Yeah, pants make lots of things less fun, but it's the world we live in...The wheel pants are going to make that a lot less fun.

I always wanted a big wheelI guess the Aptera is a trike not a car....
Actually, if they just sell a single Aptera with full solar, doesn’t it get effectively infinite miles per charge if it never has to plug in? What’s the average mpg if one of your vehicles has infinite mpg?Forget it, with the proposed 40 MPG fleet average standard, GM or Ford is going to have to buy Aptera. For every Aptera sold they could sell 3 ICE hogs..... wait I guess the Aptera is a trike not a car.... nevermind
Couldn’t they put like 2 little tires on the back where the 1 is now?Forget it, with the proposed 40 MPG fleet average standard, GM or Ford is going to have to buy Aptera. For every Aptera sold they could sell 3 ICE hogs..... wait I guess the Aptera is a trike not a car.... nevermind
Like those twin-wheel bikes?Couldn’t they put like 2 little tires on the back where the 1 is now?
Or like an atrophied tire like the T-Rex arms of the tire world.
I have reservation for one with full solar and 400mi battery....$100 down and the cost currently is $32,500.....it will charger while driving and during the day...charges with 120v outlet......if you drive faster then the semi's, you'll blow past them......I think the Aptera is a tight looking 3 wheeler. In its best iteration, though, it's like 50 g's. That's a lot of dough for a vehicle that really freaks me out to whether it'll get blown off the road driving next to a semi. It may be too light? JS
I do like your thinking! Seriously, I love the idea of a vehicle you may never need to charge. Aptera is a great concept, can't wait to see it.I have reservation for one with full solar and 400mi battery....$100 down and the cost currently is $32,500.....it will charger while driving and during the day...charges with 120v outlet......if you drive faster then the semi's, you'll blow past them......
I like it, but not for $40k. It looks like they solved the width problem Aptera has.
It would be a nice partner to the top end Cybertruck though. A little Zing for the Cybertruck’s Zang.I like it, but not for $40k. It looks like they solved the width problem Aptera has.
I would want more range.
