If you're new to my posts about CYBERBRITE here, the first few pages of comments might seem confusing. My initial introduction had some unintentional inaccuracies and unclear wording — thanks to everyone who pointed them out and helped me improve it. Below is a clearer, more concise overview.

My Story

My name is Gary Starnes, and my legal business name is GARY STARNES INTERNATIONAL Ltd. DBA CYBERBRITE (State of Texas, Certificate File #80000446260). I'm 71 years old, semi-retired, and have been self-employed for over 20 years as a craftsman with 40 years of hands-on experience in stainless steel maintenance and restoration in demanding industrial environments.

I use a PO Box for returns and business mail: 101 Austin Blvd. Ste 600 PMB 1070, Red Oak, Texas 75157.

How CYBERBRITE Was Developed

My career has centered on maintaining stainless steel equipment and surfaces. For over 35 years, I've used de-staining and passivation products daily — products that are industry-standard, widely regarded as safe when used as directed, and specifically formulated for stainless steel.

Different manufacturers' formulas vary in performance. Through hands-on testing, research, and formulation adjustments, I developed a unique blend that combines the best-performing elements I've encountered. This formula is tailored specifically for the Tesla Cybertruck's 30XX-series stainless exoskeleton. It has received an accepted provisional patent application(#63/834,620), giving me 12 months from filing to submit a full non-provisional patent application.

My Goal

I'm a small-business owner who found a practical solution to keep my own Cybertruck looking factory-fresh. I created CYBERBRITE to offer fellow Cybertruck owners an effective, easy way to remove oxidation/haze and maintain that signature bright stainless steel finish, long-term. I joined with my Grandson to create a new company CYBERBRITE.

We have produced an initial run of 200 bottles and have scalable production plans. We have now sold the first bottle’s here on this forum. We welcome and look forward to your reviews. Customer satisfaction is our top priority — If you're not happy with CYBERBRITE for any reason, CYBERBRITE will promptly issue a refund. You can text me at 972-948-0435 or email orders@cyberbrite1.com for more info.

How It Works

CYBERBRITE is a dual-action formula:

  • It chemically dissolves surface oxidation and environmental contamination (free iron, rail dust, water spots, etc.) that causes dullness, haze, or orange tint.
  • It simultaneously passivates the stainless steel, helping form a protective chromium oxide layer that resists future contamination.

In typical driving conditions, this protection lasts 4–6 months (results may vary with exposure to road salt, or other environmental conditions).

Application:

Do not use CYBERBRITE over ceramic coated Cybertrucks
. Remove ceramic coatings on stained or discolored Cybertrucks before applying CYBERBRITE.
  1. Clean and dry the Cybertruck thoroughly (remove loose dirt first).
  2. Wearing the included gloves and eyewear, apply an ample (but not dripping) amount of CYBERBRITE evenly across the entire stainless surface using the provided microfiber towels. First time application normally requires 2 continuous coats.
  3. Let it dwell for at least 20 minutes (longer is often better for heavier contamination — full instructions included). No buffing or polishing. CYBERBRITE contains no abrasives.
  4. Thoroughly pressure rinse off the solution — preferably with demineralized water if available. A drive-through car wash works well too (my preferred method).
  5. Towel dry as normal.

REDUCED INTRODUCTION PRICE.
If you purchased before this price reduction, the difference will be refunded to you ASAP.

$23.95 + Shipping and Tax

Free shipping on purchase of 3 or more.

Each CYBERBRITE kit includes enough solution for 2 full applications, plus microfiber towels, application gloves, and protective eyewear.

Putting your threads together - you’re a 71 year old CT owner in Texas who happens to have a ton of career experience in maintaining stainless steel and wanted to try and create and market product of your own.

Love it. I’m going to order because I want to support you AND this surface oxidation only my truck has got to go!

Quick questions-

1) is this best applied outside of direct sunlight / higher temps and

2) does this pose a risk of discoloring or straining any of the black plastic pieces (do we need to be careful not to get any on there)

I'd like to officially apologize for my assumptions.
Thank you for the clarification and additional information.
Very intriguing product given your background.
I'll try it out when my CB comes in!

Hi, You should apply CYBERBRITE in the shade in temp above 45 deg F. Applications will work in all conditions but is better in these temps. If you got to the second page on the website cyberbrite1.com, it gives specific applications instructions. No risk in discoloring or staining plastic pieces. Thank you for your support.

One other thing, honest reviews are welcome, good or bad, and if you can send before and after pics it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, Thank you, apology appreciated but not necessary. The critics on here have helped me to better grasp the reality of initial mistakes. I appreciate the opportunity that different perceptions offer which allow me to better understand my possible customers perception of CYBERBRITE.
Sincerely,
Gary

Just bought a bottle. Thanks for the price reduction.

I did a BKF application about a year ago with great results but since then the bright silver has faded and there is some normal browning/bronzing. I’m looking forward to trying this out since the BKF definitely took some work to apply and remove. It would be amazing if it can achieve similar results without all the buffing.

I’m going to give it a try! Just ordered!

Over a year ago, I started a test: frunk and driver side only—I de-ironed then ceramic coated. Then the tailgate and right side—I de-ironed but left them ceramic-free. A year later, I see basically no difference in the finish. Both sides look identical, shed water, and cloth-dry basically the same.

I like this product since it sounds like just wash as normal, wipe on, rinse off. Very few steps and really simple. I’ll likely use it as suggested twice a year, forgoing ceramic again.

But, always a “but” from an end user 😂

I have two questions:

1. Once done and bright, can ceramic then be coated on top of it?

2. Any suggestions on the best method of removing previously applied ceramic?

I just placed an order and will post results. Just coming out of a salty Michigan winter with only 1 or 2 touchless car washes in the season. I see some contaminant discoloration that usually requires a synthetic clay bar to remove so I'm interested in seeing how this product will perform against that. I've never used any ceramic coats and generally just use touchless car washes and sprayway during the warmer seasons.

HI, Before you re-apply ceramic coating, I suggest you see how long the CYBERBRITE application last. The passivation on my truck last for at least 4 to 6 months. I know this because of my truck and others I have done over the past 1 1/2 years. I use a lowest price membership drive through carwash, and it keeps my truck looking new. I retreat my truck about every 4 months (slight increase in brightness) to keep it at its peak visual condition. I show and compare it all the time at charging stations and it has to stay in top visual condition as advertisement. I have no knowledge of ceramic coating products or how to remove. I do know that the stainless steel Tesla is very tough. Unlike paint, Its finish is as deep as it is thick. So it would be reasonable to use strong cleaning products but would suggest more research.
Thanks
Gary

Hi, FYI Teslas' stainless steel is very tough. The finish is as deep as it is thick. I use a minimal cost, full brush drive through and it works great.
thanks,
Gary

Thanks for your quick reply, Gary. I’ll definitely give it a try with no ceramic (and research ceramic coating removal steps). Worst case, I just do the non-ceramic-coated half with your Cyberbrite and then start a phase-two trial vs. my already coated ceramic side! 🤣
