Found a couple videos for any folks wondering what the SAWD truck should mimic. Figured it might be helpful for those who have been searching for more info like myself.

Test drive. Actually addresses the adaptive coil suspension and stereo. User actually test drove a premium prior to this LR version.

Exterior and interior walk around

Good shot of the standard 18” wheels and cloth seats.

I've had my Model X Plaid in Tesla service for the last week getting a door seal replaced (must be back ordered). They gave me a premium AWD Cybertruck for the week. So that has been fantastic!! that said one of my biggest concerns was losing seat cooling. After driving the premium for a week, I am no longer concerned about this loss. It does work, a little, but it is nothing like the seat cooling in my X Plaid. It's a nice feature on Cybertruck, but not worth considering a $20 premium. I did not appreciate how fantastic the stereo was, until I've had it for a week. I'm typically a talk radio/podcast listener, but this week I have been blasting some 90's metal, some country music, and even some, lighter modern Christian rock. The sound system is the best I have ever heard. I think I may miss that, but again, probably not $20K worth.
The suspension is a little more stiff than I expected, but still a great ride, except over potholes. I guess I was expecting a miracle there. Air ride is nice, we like it on the X, but I would assume if the suspension is too stiff, when I add the WIldepeak 285/75/18's which are a few inches taller and a little narrower than stock, the ride should get better. If that doesn't do it, I am sure someone will have progressive coil overs, and that may surpass the air ride. Air Ride allowing the truck to lower on highway speeds should not be underestimated on the range hit.

At the end of the day, I think the compromises are a fair trade to get this truck at a $20K savings. That $20K in the S&P 500 would gain enough to pay for the truck in 10 to 12 years. that $20K in TSLA over the next 10 years, who knows, but with excellent execution, it could be huge.

Now, here's to hoping that my early reservation, combined with a 5 year old reservation number, will get me a truck this summer! I am doing truck things with it today, on my final day. I have a 10 foot butcher block counter in the bed, with the tailgate up, and the cover partially closed. It would suck to try and haul that in my Y Performance, and there is no way to haul it in the X Plaid

I think the stereo is my biggest wish, but I know there are aftermarket systems you can upgrade to probably rival the 15-speaker system. The one video the reviewer said the speakers in the 7-system were bigger just doesn't have the bass (subs) like the 15. NO idea if thats accurate or not but for $20k savings it'll work for now. The adaptive coil should be fine running the 18" wheels and I'm already looking at wheel upgrades but use the existing tires that come with the BAWD.

It appears that of the four videos you posted, three of them are about the canceled RWD CT and the top one is for the $59k (now $69k) CT AWD but the guy who made the video thought it was RWD. Tesla doesn't currently sell a RWD CT, only AWD.

I think they are all the RWD trucks. I don't even think the SAWD even exists yet.

Yes, but the base all-wheel-drive and the canceled rear wheel drive will share a lot of similarities in the interior. In fact, the interior and suspension setup is almost certainly pulled one for one so that’s the point of him posting the videos…

I see. Makes sense. My bad :) I just thought it was confusing watching that first video and having the guy talk about RWD and if you buy it now it's not available until 2027 but I completely get the point now of the comparison.
Also, Cayden Thompson I think you're right that there are no SAWD yet to even test....so this is the best point of comparison for now.

Yep, I was most interested in seeing the trim inside like the cloth seats, sound system, and wheels which I think will mirror what the SAWD will be.

Hopefully this is why the line is down this week, so they can prep production for building the SAWD

Watch part of the first video you posted. As an owner of a 2024 AWD (aka Premium AWD), I’ve never had the truck stutter doing a u turn. So I’d ignore that comment he made.

My Top 3 Unconfirmed Feature Wishlist for what I hope the Fire Sale Cyber has that the RWD does not.
1. Offroad Modes (Obvioulsy not Extract Mode but should have Baja and a way to engage lockers)* This one may be a dealbreaker.
2. Rear Center Seat Flip down Cupholders
3. Get same front Lighting as the Premium AWD.

Matt, I wouldn't say all 3 of those are unconfirmed. My take from pouring over the owners manual, Tesla online specs (pitiful), those YouTube videos and more:

1) I wouldn't expect off-road modes to change unless it was specifically tied to the air suspension, i.e extract mode, etc. Time will tell but locking diffs are definitiely included according the specs.
2) No fold down center armrest in the rear. Bummer yes, but my '17 F150 XLT never had it and I didn't get any complaints. Not a deal breaker for me.
3) Mixed reviews on the front lighting on that RWD. Some say it's different, most likely reading from the Tesla specs but I swear I cannot see any difference in the models by looking at detailed pictures from Car & Driver, etc.
