My CT AWD is Telling Me to Clean My Windshield

This is kinda strange. it thinks my windshield needs cleaning on the inside?
It might be from when they installed a new windshield about a month ago. Probably didn't clean up as good as it should have been.
On the other hand, I don't know. I guess I'll have to schedule an appointment to find out what this means.
Then, on the other-other hand, it could be from all the pollen that's in the air here in Virginia., but the message notes, "interior".

Hard telling but possible there was offgassing from new windshield. Offgassing for the cybertruck and needing front camera assembly cleaning is probably biggest “problem” ive seen over the years on this forum. DIY cleaning is easy, but if you have the luxury of a SC nearby might as well have them do it. (Normally free btw)

Yep, this will happen to virtually everyone. Offgassing coats the interior glass, which causes glare in direct sunlight. You can let the SC perform the cleaning for you: first one free, $50 (?) thereafter.

yeow. I read through most of the posts on that link.
I hope this issue with mine is just the pollen on the outside. Having to go through all that disassembly once a month or so will be a deal breaker and that truck will go on the auction block.

I've only done it twice in two years. The offgassing declines over time.

Example, yes in front of the camera, what your eyes sees vs what the camera sees.

It happens, breathing moisture, AC condensation, dust seeps in the vented area of the camera housing and gets trapped and dries leaving haze.

You can view the live video through the app and center screen to see if it has cleared up.

Do you happen to have a protective lens cover on your bumper camera? I had a tech tell me if dust builds up behind the cover it might tell you to clean your windshield.
