Yeah the wheel well plastic liner. Hitch extender is a good idea. Thanks. I’ll check that out.
The best recommendation I can provide for the wheel well area / liner are: mud flaps, vinyl armor kits with bed-liner texture, or professional spray on non-flex areas. This however adds cost to what is already a pretty relatively inexpensive (plastic) piece; it's almost designed to get worn out, flex, and abused. If it gets really bad, it's a simple matter of taking it to the Service Center and replacing the part. I've attached the parts for your reference.

I got a quote of $69,400 from Tesla on a trade in value for an early build 2024 Dual Motor Foundation series with 33k miles. When asked about whether they take into consideration my PPF wrap which I paid $6k for… the Tesla rep said and I quote: “ That would be considered an aftermarket part which lowers your trade value.”

What do you guys think of this trade in value? I am thinking of getting a 2026 version which includes those subtle upgrades I read about.
They gave me 75k for mine, but it had 18k miles. It has a wrap as well.

On not factoring in the cost for your wrap, or even taking $ off, this is normal.

$74900 for my FS with 23500 miles on it. I do not use FSD and dont have free charging. Getting a new truck for $81000 was a no brainer

So both of our cars essentially depreciated about 30% in two years. Mine obviously has considerably more miles than yours… I guess 30% isn’t too terrible right?
Something like that. When I bought the truck I looked at old model S resale values and was prepared for the drop.

I’ll just wait for the Cyburban SUV. It’ll be really improved.

As for the CT quietness, I just changed my tires ( a little early at 24K) from the originals to the Michelin Defenders and left for a road trip to SoCal from Oregon the next day. The CT has NEVER been so quiet and smooth, what a difference the tires make. If/when you do change your tires, be sure to save the temperature sensors inside them. They're $80 each. There was no place for them in the Michelines, but the set after those might accommodate them. That'll be a while,
as the Michelines have a 70K warranty.

I just changed my tires actually and opted again for the same Goodyear wranglers that came originally. Looks over comfort for me! Lol

I really do wish people would experience it before being so quick to judge it. Mine is in the 40K VIN range - It's been hands down one of the best purchases of my life - no regrets here.

The Service center had just done my tonneau cover fix thanks to @mongo's recommendation of:
"Also reference SB-25-11-001
https://service.tesla.com/docs/Serv...over_for_Exposed_Water_Management_Channel.pdf "
The Vault is now as waterproof as it gets.
Tesla put in the extra slat for me, but now it leaks more than it did originally.
I found that the water leak is actually coming from the front side of the cover going across the entire section. I am removing it and placing a seal on the fromnt side near the edge of the glass, I say a video on this and it seems to stop the water intrusion.
