Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the best way to place a powered wheelchair into the bed of the Cybertruck.

From my research and limited knowledge, it seems that an inside-bed lift should not be installed due to the electrical wiring in the bed. There are hitch mount lifts as options, but my ultimate goal is getting the chair to sit inside the bed, rather than outside in the back (which would obstruct the rear camera...).

It seems like my best option is to just have a portable ramp and drive the chair into the bed each time. However, I'm worried that the height from the ground to the tailgate would be too steep, even on entry mode.

Does anyone have any recommendations or setups that they would like to share? Thanks!

I dunno why a bed crane wouldn't work. You've got multiple standard outlets available. I keep a manual chair in my bed and just toss it up over the side/sail bit, but I had a crane put in an older car and it seems like there must be a viable option for the CT bed. I'd check with a local installer. They understand wiring and they can fab anything into anything.

I wanted to reply on the public thread to state for anyone considering accessibility issues, you can swap the front door hinge and strap for the rear door hinge and strap greatly improving access for transferring. Made a huge difference for me, and there is no interference.
I LOVE being able to take my wife into the wild on trails that wouldn't be possible really with any other vehicle. Also check my post for eliminating dust intrusion since wheelchairs, and everything else in the bed, don't love dust.
