I was at a Tesla showroom yesterday and the salesperson told me that they have been told to expect a dual motor AWD for demo drives in July.

This probably only applies to my showroom in Libertyville, Illinois.

is it possible to have been assigned a VIN then have it taken away? I swear last night when I got the notification to start doing my delivery tasks I got a VIN too.. but now when I go to actually do the tasks, there's no VIN...

replying to myself, ok I checked out that Google Sheets that someone is maintaining and I guess I was hallucinating, every reservation near me doesn't have a VIN yet so I probably didn't.

Thanks to whoever is maintaining that list, they added me too, my order date was Feb 22 and I'm in CA

Since you're part of the remaining 11 on the tracker that ordered on 2/20 with no VIN, I'd say you have a better chance of getting one in June/July than the rest of us. Fingers crossed.

Today I stopped into Tesla in Mt Kisco, NY where I would take delivery They had only one PAWD demo model CT on the lot and they said they knew nothing about timiing of deliveries for DMAWD.

Whoever has taken delivery of the truck, can you please update on the sound system. That's the only thing bothering me. I wish they placed atleast 1 subwoofer instead of two. If anyone who has the SAWD is adventurous enough also check if there is space for installation of a custom subwoofer.
