What are you talking about? Im saying no one was selling their CTs to carvana and they were faking having them for some reason - maybe to drive traffic? I dont have a narrative. I know this because I spent a year obsessively trying to buy one from Carvana. Always exactly 3 in inventory. Never once saw one available, ALWAYS “pending sale”. Look into the family that runs Carvana - wouldnt even register as unethical.Let me get this straight:
Because the sales didn't match your chosen narrative that nobody wants to buy the ugly duckling Cybertruck, you assumed Carvana, the largest used-only car dealership, was posting fictitious listings?
Oh brother!
@AWDMK4
My delivery date went from 9/16 - 11/25 to 9/20 - 11/25 for a week or so. Now it's 2027. When I placed my order the estimate was October. We'll see. It might change again.
I rather wait for Tesla to resolve any production issues or whatever that's causing the delays than to get a truck with issues.
I totally agree. Never once had any luck locating a Cybertruck at Carvana that was available to purchase. Haven't tried for years but have for the last 8 months.What are you talking about? But alot of us have been waiting since 2019....now we're close (yet so far)..Members are just torturing themselves constantly refreshing the Tesla app and asking delivery questions to the AI Bot. The delivery estimate when you ordered should be in the ballpark.
I know we are all used to instant gratification in 2026 with Amazon same day delivery, drone drop off’s, etc. You’re all locked in at super low $59,990 fire sale MSRP.

blackrock and vanguard own about 40% or so of the planet so thats not saying much"Key Owners and LeadershipErnest Garcia II (Father): The largest individual shareholder, who holds a controlling stake in the company through various family trusts and entities. He is also the owner of DriveTime Automotive, which provided Carvana's initial funding and inventory.Ernest Garcia III (Son): The co-founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board. He holds the second-largest individual ownership stake and runs the day-to-day operations.Institutional Investors: As a public company, major institutional shareholders like Vanguard and BlackRock also hold significant portions of the company's outstanding shares."
I agree 100%. I gave them the Suburban with the tint and ceramic coat receipts that have warranties. Left all the accessories in it and the pick up guy could care less. He didn’t even look or care to look at any of it. Got the keys, handed over the check and was on his way. Whoever got it is sure lucky to have a well cared for SUV.My only experience with carvana is i have sold cars to them because their price comes in 2nd only to private DIY sales. They are consistently 5% higher than carmax and autonation with the added caveat that they are very lax on vehicle acceptance. If its in the ballpark of your description, they pay what they say they will. They don't sweat the small stuff, they come to you for pick up and promptly drop the funds into your account.
However, I do not recommend purchasing from them because they use the same lax intake rules to push vehicles out. Getting a used car from them is a crap shoot. Sometimes you will get a nice car, sometimes you'll get one with hidden problems. They are just there to make a quick buck. My cybertruck searches have been only to guage market conditions. I would never buy one of their trucks
