  1. Biggest flaw in Cyberlandr - bed size

Calling the Cyberlanr's bed "Queen size" is ludicrous. The vault is 6' 6" long and at most, 4' 10 wide. Given that the bed is at a height requiring six layers of 'pleat' I don't see how the length can be over about 5' 10". Given that there is an aisle on the right side I don't see how the bed...
  2. Sensible alternative to CyberLandr and FORM

Firetruck 41, You know the CT comes with a built in air compressor. If you are not worried about your ground footprint you could go big!
  3. Sensible alternative to CyberLandr and FORM

The real benefit of a pop top is internal access to the vehicle. I have never seen a rooftop tent (The best one is Bundutec Giant) that housed a porta potty. That's a real advantage in rain, snow or a public parking lot.
  4. Sensible alternative to CyberLandr and FORM

This is a simple front hinged curved lid with a manual Westphalia lift mechanism at the rear. It is under 7' tall. Most importantly it has a minimal impact on aerodynamic drag, decreasing range by only 5-10%. When opened it has a stand up height walkway that is ten feet long. It could even be...
  5. Elon Musk Just Taught a Huge Lesson to Every CEO in America. I Hope They're Paying Attention

All CEOs have an internal locus. People with an external locus of control are incapable of entering the supervisory ranks, much less the executive ranks.
  6. Fold down entrance to the bed from the cabin

A simple hinged opening tonneau could replace the rolling slats. Much cheaper and then just hang a tent around the edge.
  7. Mid-gate Impossible? Best cab sleeping solution for one? - or kookiest idea yet?

No headroom. On a 6" mattress you have 28" above your head and 18" above your feet. Coffin-like. If the Tonneau fails you are trapped. One tiny window. --- I have 300 drawings of toppers & campers, some will get built!
  8. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Grind on ground crossing troughs etc ? This CT's tail is 15-16" off the ground and 92" behind the rear axle. My Promaster van's custom carrier grinds only occasionally and it is 10" off the ground and 72" behind the axle. This photo features a ground line. The red "L" is the same as my van's...
  9. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Design criteria is 1. a bed, 2. porta potty 3. minimal aerodynamic drag. This design is simple: a topper and tailbox. Assumes CTs tailgate is removed. The topper could be home built or purchased. The only thing special about the topper is a sliding door on the tail. Access to the topper is thru...
  10. Mid-gate Impossible? Best cab sleeping solution for one? - or kookiest idea yet?

Three drawing of a longitudinal bed right side in the cab. 78"L x 39"W Height should be over the folded center seat. Cross your fingers tat the right seat tilts back that far and low.
  11. Mid-gate Impossible? Best cab sleeping solution for one? - or kookiest idea yet?

A better solution is tilting the right front seat to max tilt and putting a cot over it with an air mattress. Here are two crude images: one with the bed low and to the rear - off the dash, and the second is higher, more forward and puts the feet on the dash.
  12. Mid-gate Impossible? Best cab sleeping solution for one? - or kookiest idea yet?

Remove the right front seat and sleep lengthwise to the CT. This offers 6'6" length. Back seat width is only 5'6". I'm 6-3.
  13. Mid-Gate possible?

Silhouette is superimposed on this. Don't know where I got it.
  14. Mid-Gate possible?

Schematic of vault. I tried to scale the silhouette to a 6' person. Window 10" tall. Mattress 8" thick.
