Non-Tesla vehicles pay higher charging rates. They have to pay a monthly fee of $13/month to get the same rate as tesla owners. The fees allow tesla to open even more charger locations going forward and that's a net win for everyone. We paid 100K for our vehicle. We didn't pay for the...
I agree. I got my windshield tinted to 70% with 95% IR reduction. I would not do it again. The windshield tint for the CT is incredibly difficult to do perfectly. My highly-rated installer redid it twice for a total of 3 times. The windshield is simply too big to handle, resulting in tiny kinks...
Tesla needs to put up signs at straight-in charging stalls to indicate they are to be used for 3 scenarios only:
1) handicap
2) with trailer
3) last open stall (even then it's for a quickie before moving on).
I see too often people just use the straight-in stalls when back-in stalls are wide...
The thing about EVs is they are so quiet that every little noise becomes concerning. I too have a '26 AWD CT and it is the quietest tesla I've ever been in. The whining is the motors as you said. The other noise is the compressor running to enable the different ride heights/easy entry. I added...
Wow that looks...integrated! May I ask how you were able to do that? I have the same underscreen storage. You just cut a notch in the divider and stuck a clicker in there? I've never seen a clicker looking like that.
I need some ideas to store/hide the gate and garage openers. Eight years with MX Homelinks and now I'm stressed out having to search for the right one between the gate and the garage clickers. First world problem I know. How do you store/hide yours? Any accessories to organize them? Anything...
Disagree. Elon's $1T pay package is tied to him getting 10M active FSD subscriptions, meaning he has to work to convince enough people to subscribe. What you are suggesting means Elon doesn't have to move a finger to get the $1T. Easy money.
Yes, but the $1000 heroes discount was for first responders only, and then only if you took delivery by September 2025, meaning you didn't get a 2026 CT (?) Q4 was when $500 discount expanded to a few more groups.
Essentially, I got both Q3 and Q4 promos and 2026 model.
Q3: $7500 EV, 0% APR, 1...
I'm glad to report no wetness whatsoever in pouring rain. I transported a bunch of clothes and books (helping parent move).
So what happens to the FSD when your 2-year lease is up? Would they allow another transfer to another lease or purchase?
I got an early December AWD 2026 myself.
What kind of deal did you get? I'm thinking I'm an outlier because I got the best deal on a new CT I have seen on these boards and elsewhere.
I placed an order September 30th to qualify for the 7500 EV credit, delayed delivery until early Dec (because I...
Thanks for the picture!
I never opened it completely. I just barely removed it to enable some airflow. Notice the black piece next to the front clip. Everything still looks to be there. I'm trying to force it back in flush, but I think the front clip is preventing me from pushing it in. Do I...
I just got my windshield tinted and got the dreaded emergency lights flashing issue. I popped off the internal camera housing to try to get it to dry quicker, but now I can't pop it back in. Any ideas how to push it back in? Thanks!
The category is "Healthcare Providers." A physician is a healthcare provider, so yes. I'm a dentist, a healthcare provider, got $500 (in addition to $1000 loyalty). $1500 total.

...oh wait that was my wishlist to Santa.
AFAIK, pedals are now black, not metallic
Not many people did that I don't think. Whenever I get in a new car, it'd take me at least 15 minutes to get comfy with the way it drives. I was so timid on my CT demo. A granny probably drives faster than I did.
