Guess that means mine is approved since I have the magic purple button then?
Can’t test it yet either because no powerwall support right?
I have the one in the app but the one in the trucks menu was the one that appeared after the config was approved.

Here you go. Straight forward. There is a sales person in Plesant Grove who owns a cybertruck and has working powershare. However as an employee of Tesla he can not help figure out if this is a problem with the truck or the house. The service center doesn't have a full test harness to determine with certainty that the truck is working.

So again if anyone in a 10 hour driving radius of Park City owns a cybertruck with working powershare I would love to stop by and determine if our truck can power your house.

Well Pleasant Grove sales just informed that they don't have founders series CT for demos. The demo vehicles are not enabled for powers share. So that path is dead unfortunately.

Yes, the CT is enabled for powershare.

Thank you for all the creative thinking and support! Having purchased 5 vehicles from Tesla since 2014 I am shocked how poor the support has become.

After that I flipped it on, then manually ran my test by flipping my Main panel shutting off the grid.
Truck gets woke up by the gateway, they have a chat then power restored within about a minute or so to the house
The extra cable from UWC to Gateway is both power for GW and communication. Needed because nothing is powered to begin with other than the truck which is likely either asleep or disconnected .

The sequence (as I understand it) is:
Truck notices UWC lost power
Truck powers UWC (somehow)
UWC powers gateway
Gateway opens isolation switch and enables truck power export
Truck powers loads

gateway uses comm wires to communicate with truck is my understanding.
gateway detects grid outage. Wakes truck. Handshakes and truck delivers power.
Mine just went out again. I also hear sirens so it might be man vs pole.

Gateway talks RS485 to UWC, UWC talks PLC to truck.

Gateway can't detect anything when grid goes down due to being unpowered. In Powerwall setups with GW3, the TACO/ site controller is part of the Powerwall and it runs the isolation switch via RS485+power cable. In Powershare, the TACO is part of the Gateway and the truck powers the UWC which powers the Gateway.

Thanks I remember watching these too

There was some confusion about what the transformer was for in there and had to look it up.
