  1. How to maximize range? Comfort mode may not be the way ….

The suspension damper solenoids for adjusting stiffness / damping / rebound are in their "off" default position on the firm ride quality. That defaults "safe" and firm if you're trailering and get a solenoid failure. Edit:// "Off" is a relative term since they are still active. But should...
  2. Anyone fixed the interior creak?

I’ve got the same creak and isolated it to the front lower panel on the center console. I had two loose clips at the bottom of the panel. When pressed in / fully seated, creak is gone. After awhile they work themselves loose again. Press on it again, it goes away.
  3. Center Console Behind Screen organizer

The airbag fires up through the top of the dash cover, then expands towards the passenger. You can see the "cut line" if you look at the dash in front of the passenger at just the right angle. Thats going to expand and displace that area very close to the display. I'm just pointing out...
  4. Center Console Behind Screen organizer

Just curious, although I'm assuming the answer is "no". Has that company tested that organizer with the passenger airbag deployment? Because its very close to the airbag in the dash. Anything in that, and the box itself might become a high speed projectile.
  5. How do you judge battery degradation?

Tesla Vehicle Warranty 70% of total capacity after 8 years / 150,000 miles. Its checked through a service menu procedure, that nearly fully drains the battery, then slowly recharges it to 100% and measures the capacity.
  6. Cracks in my touchscreen

Do you have a screen protector on it? Tesla stated that warranty for the screen is void and you may damage the screen if you put a protector over it. I believe its due to the thermal loads, as it runs very hot. Looks like a stress crack.
  7. Should we offer a color matched stainless steel bed cap topper, or just stick with matte black?

I’d rather see some bright colors like a red/ blue or American flag wrap rather than more “stainless”. You’ll likely struggle to match the stainless grain / color and it’ll look off. The black adds sleekness, kinda like blacked out a/b/c pillars.
  8. How much max range have you lost already?

No, SOC is not simply voltage reported out by the pack. The lithium ion cell voltage curve has a voltage hook at the bottom of the cell capacity, a voltage hook at the top of the cell capacity, and a long flat voltage plateau for the majority of the cells capacity change. That plateau is so...
  9. How much max range have you lost already?

The -only- way to accurately check battery health is by running the built in BMS calibration routine found in the service sub-menu. Which will nearly fully discharge the pack, fully charge it and balance all the modules. It takes a day+ to run. BMS calibration drift is just a fact of daily...
  10. Well I know that test has made 27,634 cyber trucks sofar

Congrats! Make sure to schedule a service appointment for those two alignment issues and anything else you find right away. Both the roof trim and top cap can be adjusted flush. I think the B pillar looks like it still has the plastic shipping film on it. That should just peel off.
  11. Cyberbeast acceleration in various driving modes...

I timed a 2.6 second 0-60 on a slightly uphill road with a passenger with a beast launch. A non-launch mode 0-60 in medium height seems to be very dependent on traction and tire temperature. The 60ft zone often is slow, as the tires are slipping and traction control is working hard. To the...
  12. New: Tesla Winter Tires & Wheel Package, Core Wheels Covers

Ordered. The tires aren’t snow dedicated, but the softer compound and better siping will still be a step up compared to the AT stock tires for winter duty. But either way, they’re a cheap set of rims/ tpms and tires. The best other option is a dedicated 275 width snow tire on the...
  13. New owners questions ?

I drained the blue Smurf piss that was in the reservoir and filled it with Adam’s washer fluid. Much better and it’s clear. My prior last new vehicle (Porsche Macan), was delivered in September and I stupidly assumed they had filled it with winter washer fluid. It froze up on the first cold...
  14. I drove to a different country to test drive a Cyberbeast and promptly cancelled my order

Well, you do you. Personally, after owning it and driving it a month, I disagree with pretty much every point you were trying to make. Some of the things you point out as issues, I initially thought that as well before I picked it up. But after living with it, not an actual problem. I’m...
  15. AC Unit for camping in Cybertent?

For cold weather, just get a heated blanket. A “heater” tends to have coils that run extremely hot and are a fire hazard. Not good for a tent.
  16. Cyberbeast Core Wheel VIN Assigned!

So Tesla built about 7000 trucks in August. I picked up my 23k VIN beast on the 6th, and got that VIN the week prior. 84k vehicle annual run rate.... noice. Oh, the Grey is really nice. I've got the white. I like them both.
  17. Rivian plant on fire yesterday

Stock is going up, because Rivian sells each truck for a margin loss. So if they can't sell vehicles or make them, their cash position will actually be better at the end of the quarter than if they had.
  18. Any recommendations on windshield washer fluid?

Adams Windshield Washer Fluid No dye, good to -25F, cleans bugs, doesn't foul the fill sensor, works great, and its a reasonable price even with shipping if you order enough of them. Especially if you order other Adams products or over $115 of total items. I've mixed my own, I've used...
