Got my truck back on Friday from its 4th service appointment this past Friday. Tesla swore me up and down that the middle console creak was gone before I made the 45 min drive to the service center.

I arrived and took it for a spin around the block. Wow it sounded like they actually fixed it. :) I really should have taken more time to test it but couldn't because I was in-between meetings and needed to get back to my side of town to pick up the kids. Plus I was like they had the truck for 7 days (14th - 21st) for this specific issue and the tech promised it was corrected....it had to be fixed right.....

Bad News: Well here we are Monday morning and the creak is back!

Good News: It is only coming from the back now. The front panel is completely silent.

After some discussion this morning with the advisor it appears that there were two different techs to work on the console. One did the front and the other did the back. You cannot make this stuff up.

They only tested the fix while riding in the low suspension mode. That is the mode I rode in all weekend. When I moved to chill/medium this morning the back panel was just as loud as it was when I dropped it off.

Next appointment: July 15th :(.... no I just could not bring it back in this week since they didn't fix what it was in the shop for (that would make too much sense). I have to wait 3 more weeks after I waited 4 weeks to get the appointment last week.

Tesla service is not for the weak.

I am a first time Tesla owner and this Cybertruck will probably be my only car I ever purchase from them. I absolutely love this truck but the service experience has made my 3 months of ownership VERY frustrating at times.

It always nice dropping off a clean cybertruck for service and be given a filthy loaner car inside and out and have to drive straight to the car wash from Tesla to get it detailed at your expense. I guess I should be happy with the free loaner supercharging lol We cannot have it all.

Since taking deliver 3 months ago I am still owed: $2500 PowerShare voucher, 2 d-rings, and various open service items.

My apologies for the rant lol
If you find Tesla’s service difficult to live with… don’t buy a Rivian as your next vehicle. 3-5 months wait time for appointments. Rarely fix issues. Give back dirty car. I sold mine.

I was able to fix it!
Gonna do a video on it since it's a little hard to explain
But its the seat..
There's a plastic trim piece near the seat and seat belt insert area. remove that and spray all the silicone spray in that area. Once you do that it's fixed!
are you still going to do a video? I have same issue. Thx!

Any update on the video? I really may end up doing this myself.

I just had a ticket opened with Tesla for this. Those idiots want to charge me $88 to fix this. Wow. I have had squeaks in my Ford and they never tried to charge me for that. I told them where they can shove their $88 fix.

Did others get charged to get this crap fixed?

Hard to describe but for the driver side, near the seat belt there's a black plastic piece that snaps off
to remove it you push away from you
from there, silicone spray the crap out of the entire area. no squeaking since
Still on the passenger side though!
I'll make that video soon! Been so busy

I'm super sensitive to creaks and rattles but after 2500 miles of flogging it on fireroads and worse, not a squeak!

Super pleased with how calm and solid feeling the cabin feels and sounds when I'm on a rocky Forest Service Road getting pounded.

For those with a squeak, it sounds like the fix is pretty simple.

Here is my squeak… easy to see it by pressing on the console into the rear near the passenger side.

I recognize that noise! I've been using a trim tool and inserting foam in cracks. I've improved it but not solved it.

Update for me… the creak was getting worse so I pulled the cover partially off and sprayed some silicon spray in there and popped it back on…. Creak is gone

I’ve got the same creak and isolated it to the front lower panel on the center console. I had two loose clips at the bottom of the panel. When pressed in / fully seated, creak is gone. After awhile they work themselves loose again. Press on it again, it goes away.

Your video cannot come soon enough, I don't believe my creak is coming from the center console, I don't know precisely where it's coming from but it's definitely on the left side right behind the driver's seat so it's either from the seat belt housing part or the actual seat.
