On my home charger, once the vehicle is fully charged is there a way I can just unplug the CT without needing to go the app and click "Unlock Charge Port". I tried clicking the button on the charger itself but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Do you have your phone with you to unlock the car? It should unlock by pressing the button on the cord.

I personally have my Teslas set to not lock at home so this isn't an issue.

Sometimes you may need to open the rear passenger door to wake the car up even if it's unlocked.

Faulty mobile connector?

I always Power Off either at home or at a SC station and just press the button on the top of the Mobile Connector handle to unplug it while the doors are still locked.

Try holding the button down on the charger handle. If you just push it you may not be able to pull it out before it locks again.

Pressing the button on the charger cable works to unlock the door, but the charger cable (at least for me) has to be relatively close to the charger door. Give that a shot.
