Noticed this worse red light behavior occasionally in 12.5.5.2 and now on the first drive for 12.5.5.3. It's pretty easy to look out for since I'm sure we all follow instructions and pay attention while using test releases...
I wouldn't expect vast changes with a x.x.x.2 to x.x.x.3 version...
No horn update. 67 of 111 ECUs updated from 33.15 (12.5.5.2) to this version. Did seem a little smoother on the first drive, avoiding a median on a left turn that usually got clipped on 5.2.
Was also real smooth on a red-red light, so smooth it's like it didn't even stop ?
Agreed, some one-touch buttons are great. Relying too much on a smooth touchscreen interface means you can’t do anything without looking. I believe the touchscreen-only wiper option in the MY didn’t last long because of this.
There’s many great shortcuts to actions in the CT, like how the wiper...
The roof power tap might be easier. I ran power from there to a compressor mounted under the storage compartment. Plenty of room to run a wire under the roof trim, then right into the bed side wall area.
Sounds like the cantrail. Attached by a bolt and ~13 clips. I had a bolt come loose then come off while off roading and replaced with a 6mm bolt. Sounds like you have a little more of an issue, but a picture would help...
These are repair bulletins vice recall bulletins. They don’t trip the mandatory notification requirement, but would still be worked either on complaint or when in for other service. The full list can be found on the service site.

Turning off sentry mode and cabin overheat protection are at the top of my checklist for significant impacts (10%/day). It's not fun realizing the next day or two you forgot one of those...
I haven't noticed any real impact using a small electric cooler, lights, etc.
Nice trailer setup. Just exit trailer mode after you're hooked up, then select off road mode. Get back out there.
Trailer mode provides cruise control type adjustments not needed off road and trailer braking. No trailer braking off road seems minor.

Credit given, thanks for sharing. I might not be one for videos either, but this is an awesome feature that fixes a problem I had.
When towing our trailer, the tailgate would rest on the trailer jack when opened. This made climbing into the bed (or climbing into the tent when camping) difficult...
Simple answer: 4:29 and 9 minutes..
Long answer: here’s a few performance metrics and comments for this setup. Overall still finding this setup works well. At some point, I probably need to change out the 24v converter for a dedicated 28v converter. VIAIR calls for 28v and that should decrease...
This limit seems very reasonable and is in the carrying accessories section of the manual, not towing. Free hanging accessories such as bicycle carriers and luggage racks will have an added torque that a trailer with a ball connection will never see. Also, this is a dynamic limit, so simply...
No problem, will be able to test this weekend.
Any other good DC compressors out there? Two of these VIAIR compressors at 8A/24V plus converter and wire losses is going to be over the 400W limit for the roof.
Sandwiched between the casting and curved steel backing. One stainless steel rivnut and bolt with some primer on the steel to hold it in place. And one sheared stainless steel bolt…for looks.
ProMariner Universal AC Plug Holder. Found it at a local west marine store for ~$15.
Added a standard quick connect fitting separately, held in place with epoxy.
All great points, thanks. If someone is going for solely off road airing up/down, I’d agree, skip the tank and use an adjustable pressure cutoff switch.
I find the air tank and ~200psi is great/needed for filling bicycle tires (120psi) and works for the occasional rivet air tool. The supplied...
Probably a long shot, but I'd check to see if the blue connector on the inside of the 7-pin connector is snapped all the way in. If you have long arms, you should be able to reach in and wiggle it. If that doesn't work, maybe check the resistance across each of the trailer pins to see if there...
I have pulled the entire back seat, the side bolsters are straightforward as shown. All the clips and datum’s are angled slightly, not perpendicular to the bolster.
Total cost was ~$1500 and a day or two to install start to finish. With a more basic compressor, components, etc., it could be done for under $500.
Actual time for me was a couple of weekends as I tried a few different layouts, ordered parts, etc. The only disassembly/reassembly required was...
